Hello there, I am a full-time business partner with an excellent general contractor. I offer my services during weekends and some evenings. My associates and I are very skilled and can get an impressive amount done for you in a weekend, so don't let my tight schedule fool you. Payment is required upon completion of any job, and I provide a detailed job description and customer contract before any job begins.

My service is very wide ranged. I have many clients that just have me do virtually everything from here fall and spring clean up to taking care of there pool aan anything that might come about. Such as a roof jog or a garage they want built. Generally it is only me doing the work but from time to time I might have a helper. I tend to work time and materials but will give bids on jobs. Tends to work out to be a higher number. It's hard to forsee every possibilty in the job. I tend to bill on a weekly basis but if discussed, i will do sooner or when job is complete.

Chimney Inspection questions, answered by experts

Since radon typically comes out of the soil, it is most commonly found in the lower levels of a home. In houses with basements, that's a common location for radon. Homes built directly on the ground may have radon on the ground floors. Radon can be found on the upper floors of the home, but often in lower concentrations than in lower levels.

No, a standard home inspection includes the basics and does not offer lead paint testing. Professional lead paint inspectors need specific licenses to perform these inspections, which not all home inspectors have. If you suspect lead paint in the home you are about to purchase, you will need to pay separately to have that done. If the findings come back positive, you may be able to negotiate with the buyer to cover the cost of the removal.

Homeowners insurance usually doesn’t cover foundation cracks. They are considered normal wear and tear that every home undergoes. Your foundation in general is likely covered for things like fire and water damage, but most companies don’t insure damage caused by settling, shifting soil, earthquakes, and floods, which commonly lead to foundation cracks.

Insurance companies will often take pictures of your house to confirm property details before issuing a policy or after receiving a claim. The insurance company may keep these photos on hand to compare to later pictures if you make a claim. It’s common for an insurance company to send someone to photograph the exterior of your home and your property without notifying you in advance. However, they’ll need to let you know ahead of time if they need to take interior pictures.

Yes, new home building inspections are just as important as inspecting older homes. They provide buyers with the chance to catch mistakes, like improper grading or faulty wiring, before they turn into problems. A new home inspection costs about the same as a standard inspection, typically between $280 and $400.
