They conducted a through inspection and provided a very detailed report with pictures. They included standard guidelines and website links as additional information. I received the reports the same night of the inspection (after making payment online).

They arrived early! Dan introduced me to everyone and explained what everyone was going to do, the process and what we could expect! The inspection took about 3 hours for a 4700 square foot home. When it was all done the minor things that needed fixing they walked me through so I could see what they were talking about first hand. Those items of course were included in the report we received later that evening! Because there was no moisture under the home, Dan refunded us the moisture report charge! How often does someone do that? Not very! We thought so much of them, we hired them to do our current home, to see what needed fixing! Dan, Adam and Chris are very professional and we couldn't be happier! We finally felt like we had a REAL home inspector that knew what they were doing and was doing a COMPLETE JOB!

Best customer experience of all home inspections that I have ordered so far. Dan Rogers picked up the phone and took care of everything from there on. He explained clearly what would be done, accommodated my timing requirements and showed up perfectly on time with two additional people (Adam and Chris Comeau). They put-on their shoes protectors and spent almost three hours going through all small details, explaining to me what they were doing, why and the initial findings. They are sufficiently equipped with humidity probes, gas leak detectors, FLIR infra-red cameras and alike, and know how to use them. Dan spent a good forty minutes with me after the inspection was done, discussing the overall results and what I should do to protect my interest in the transaction. Report was available just a couple of hours later, in a clear language, with pictures and videos, and easy to forward to the seller?s agent, closing agent, etc. I consider myself quite savvy when it comes to building techniques, codes and practices and I think I am sufficiently educated in the topic. That is why I can confidently appreciate Dan?s team work and, in particular, how easy it made it for me and how approachable he was throughout the whole process. Dan has got a customer for life!

Inspected my home & garage top to bottom and inspected the crawl space under the house. Dan was very helpful and informative on a few concerns I had about termites,my foundation and cracks in my walls. He also give me some tips on a dinning room remodel I am in the middle of. One member of his crew even detected a gas leak coming from the meter in the back of my house. Dan and his crew showed up on time and were very professional. I would use them again.

Dan Rogers-Final Analysis had done the inspection on our first home almost 20 years ago. He was so thorough, professional, and personable that we called on him a second time. We were considering selling our home and wanted him to inspect it to let us know what needed to be done. Because of his awesome service on previous occasions we called on him once again to assist in the purchasing another home. This time he had two assistants who are just as friendly and professional as he is. They were on time (15 minutes early) and begin work right on schedule. The Final Analysis team truly works for you and you can trust they will give you the best service possible. I also want to say that the secretary who took my call was pleasant as well. I tried to make an appointment for Dan to complete my home inspection. I am a first time home buyer, and also a Safety inspector, so I know the value of a good inspector. After reading all of these reviews on Angie's List, I knew I wanted him to do our inspection. In the end, it didn't work out as the house we are trying to purchase is outside of his service area. However, we spent a good amount of time discussing what's important in selecting a home inspector, certifications they should have, and he even went as far as recommending other inspectors in my service area. Also, I gave him the name of the company the realtor gave us to use for home inspections, and he found that they weren't certified by ASHI to complete inspections AND they were actually a realtor themselves (so, conflict of interests). He saved me in the end. The only regret I have is not finding a house within his service area! Thank you again to Dan for your help and professionalism.

Dan's company is very technologically advanced which made the logistics and flow of information very easy. I have a fair amount of construction knowledge myself but wanted the benefit of an independent review. Dan was very thorough and has a lot of expertise. I thought Dan's analysis was spot on in every instance. I will definitely use him in the future should I buy or sell again.

Dan, Chris, and Adam were there before I was, and I was right on time. They had already gotten to work inspecting the crawl space, and inside equipment. They answered all of my questions (of which I'm sure some were quite silly), they patiently explained their findings and recommendations, and they were very courteous. They exceeded my three 'P's of service: Punctuality, Professionalism, Precision. I would recommend them most emphatically. Even my otherwise hard-to-impress real estate agent was impressed with them.

Incredible service and professionalism! Dan and his team provided two comprehensice inspections with high attention to detail. From scheduling to finish, I can't imagine a better customer experience. -Their website provides a useful and easy interface for scheduling, payment, and viewing/downloading an inspection -the inspection itself was thorough and provided metrics such as multiple moisture content readings, smoke tests, gas readings, etc. That exceeded my expectations. The inclusion of ample photos and videos of the inspection painted a vivid picture of the house- very important to me since I was across the country. -Dan went out of his way before a holiday weekend to provide extra assistance on closing day! He also saved me from an unwise home investment due to his team's amazing standards and knowledge of VA code. I definitely recommend these guys! I am in the process of purchasing a house and needed a high quality inspection to be done on my future home. There were three inspectors that arrived on time and performed a 2-hour inspection. They worked as a team dividing the responsibilities and making sure that they covered all the basis. I was shadowing Dan and he answered all the questions I had and made recommendations on maintenance of the vital systems of the house. I am very happy with the service. I received the report the same evening and after reviewing it I had few more questions. Tim, Chris & assistant were professional, approachable and available prior to, during and following the inspection. Extremely we'll informed re. all aspects of home construction and functions & operations of all elements. They were willing to explain and discuss findings in detail & layman's terms as well as options for repairs and improvements. We could not have asked for more expertise and helpfulness. We received a detailed, illustrated report within hours, far more explicit than the 6 home inspection reports I have read previously.

Dan and Adam did my first home inspection and despite how nervous I was they set me at ease. They arrived on time were professional, courteous and thorough. They even removed the snake ball hiding under my well cover. I would definitely use them again and would recommend them to my friends.

The house I was buying is a bank owned home which means it is being sold "as is". The bank won't even make repairs required by my lender for me to get a loan. While inspecting the house Final Analysis found termites on the second floor all the way into the attic. From what I understand a termite company does not have to go inside the house if it's on a crawl and doesn't have a garage. If I hired a termite company and they gave me a clear letter I would of been stuck buying the house with thousand of dollars in repairs. I can only imagine the damage that is hidden inside the walls. I was very pleased that Final Analysis offers a termite and moisture inspection as well as their whole house inspection, it was well worth the extra money. The rest of the house was inspected but after finding out about the termites the other things were frivolous. I did not purchase the house and I hope whoever does has a diligent home inspector like Final Analysis Home Inspections.

Everything from first contact to final report was exceptionally profressional. The inspectors showed up on time and thoroughly reviewed all aspects of the home including plumbing, electrical, roof, windows, structural, moisture, termite, safety, HVAC. They explained their initial findings then followed up that day with a very thorough, very useful, very professional report that will greatly assist me in determining what repairs are needed. Dan and his team were extremely professional and thorough with their inspection. My wife and I purchased a new home and didn't get an inspection since it was "new." I really wish we had gotten Final Analysis to review the house before purchasing. Though they didn't find anything major (thankfully), they did find some disturbing things for a new home. Dan and his team conducted two home inspections for us, the first inspection found that the entire back corner of the house was rotted along with many other issues and we decided to pass on the house, ultimately saving thousands. The second inspection Dan and his team did went much better but still identified a couple issues which we were able to get some extra money for towards our closing costs. I used Final Analysis Home Inspections for 2 properties. Fortunately, I am glad I hired Final Analysis to do the inspection on the first house I was planning to buy. My wife and I believed that it was a perfect house for our family, if it wasn't for Mr. Dan Rogers and Mr. Adam Comeau we would have been stuck with a ridiculously expensive repair. After seeing the report and the excellent job that Final Analysis performed on the first property, we decided to hire them a 2nd time to perform the inspection, their cost is priceless for what they offer, exceeding all expectations! Mr. Adam Comeau arrived to the appointment early and started inspecting the exterior while we were waiting for our realtor. Our realtor tried telling us that Final Analysis were too expensive and suggested other company but my wife and I believe that we as home buyers have the last say so in the transaction, we decide who we hire and when we want things done not the realtor because at the end, the realtor is just there to help put the transaction together not to call the shots.....

Dan and Adam were ontime and briefly explained process and than started in without delay. They were polite and professional and always willing to expalin things as they inspected to educate us on things they were finding or loking for. At the end they remained and gave ua a quick run-down of thier findings that would be in more detail in final report. They had another appt but made no attempt to push us to sign off on inspection so they could leave. We felt very well treated and welcomed the extra time they took to explain things to us.
