Millennium Pool Service

The guys that came to diagnose and fix the problem with my pool were great! They were very knowledgeable and extremely nice. I will be calling them in the future! : )

They take care of it weekly. They come every Thursday, I have a contract with them. The contract started the middle of May and will go to the end of August. They are excellent and I am very pleased with them. They are top-notch. This is my second year using them.

It went well, they were very friendly and courteous. They were also very helpful and gave advice on how to properly care for my pool and were just very accommodating.

Our 17 year old 35,000 gallon pool was losing tiles and the area around the spa was showing "degradation". Millenium helped us rejuvenate the pool in a VERY timely manner. They helped us decide on our new coping and tile. They drained the pool, removed the old coping and tile, repaired damaged areas, re-coped and tiled, acid-washed the pool, and re-caulked between coping and concrete pads. They replaced all the drain guards and plugs. They also arranged for the re-filling of the pool. They showed up when they said they were going to show up. They ALWAYS got back us quickly when we were discussing coping and tile costs and design details. We were concerned that we may need to re-plaster, but their expert came and inspected and told us that our pool was in great shape and re-plastering was not necessary. The acid-wash procedure cleaned the pool up great. They were extremely professional and polite. It seems everything on our home has decided it needed updating and so we have had to deal with quite a few contractors lately. We cannot say enough about what a great job Millennium did on our pool and how happy we are with them. We do our own openings, but we will be using them for our closings in the future. We will also use them again when we do eventually re-plaster. We are so very impressed with them. Highly recommend.

The service was good. About three people came out and it took them about three hours to complete the job. They did a great job cleaning up. I would say they are good and efficient.

Unbelievable how good they are. They've been timely, they work quickly but not recklessly, they know what they're doing, and they've been very flexible and answered all of my questions. I'm doing all of the wiring including ethernet, CATV etc., and they've extend trenches so I could do my portion of the work, the chipped and exposed rebar points around the pool so I could install direct-burial clamps and grounding wire (grounding by rebar will prevent electrolysis corrosion of pool equipment by ensuring there's no voltage differential between the pool and the equipment). Because I was down there working while they were, I saw most of what they did, and how they did it. They have a gauge on each return and suction pipe, the autofill and the skimmer, and pressurize them to ensure there are no leaks. They're going to do a leak check when the rebar is in for the concrete deck, just to be certain there are no issues with the pipes before the concrete goes in. I'll update this review in the spring when we're done with the equipment install, plastering and pool startup. By the way, Kirk at Millennium is the person who recommended the company to use for the concrete, stairs and wall work. And that company, Bright Construction Group, is doing an absolutely incredible job. I recommend Millennium highly. Definitely more than worth the money spent.

Very professional and well done masonry work. Bricks were well matched and mortar job first rate. Only draw back was due to small job size it took longer than desired to fit the job into their schedule.

This was a great find. I contacted them while in another state and scheduled the work to be done when I got back to Virginia. Their office staff was very responsive and the service team showed up when scheduled. I was very impressed with their work, especially the lead technician, Michael. He knew his stuff and was more than willing to explain in detail each step he was taking. He noticed some cracking in the fiberglass inside the tub and made a repair on the spot. He also had to crawl on his belly under the deck in which the tub sits to fix the interior spa light. He did it willingly and cheerfully. They also did a thorough check of the system after re-filling the tub. I felt like I could really trust these guys.

Awesome! They kept me up to date with their schedule. All these services were performed while I was out of town. When I returned my 21 year old pool was made new again. They came and went without leaving a trace except for a completely restored pool. Everyone I spoke to and worked with exemplified professionalism. From Stan, who gave the original estimate to the billing staff all were extremely knowledgable and answered all questions.

I must say Hank, the owner of the Millennium Pool, called me couple of days after my posting to follow up and remedy the situation. This is always a good sign that the company care about client?s dissatisfaction and opinion. I did hash out with him, he came back, and he checked on the leak in my pool and remedied the situation. He definitely redeemed his company?s reputation to me and I appreciated.

I called and asked for assistance with a pool pump. A tech called and after discussion gave me a very reasonable quote. He told me someone would call me back to schedule service. There was some confusion with scheduling but the owner called and worked it out. Well done! thank you!

These guys did a fantastic job opening my pool this year, and more importantly being open to my questions and concerns afterwards.

Very satisfied. Stan was our contract overseer and he was on site repeatedly during the work. Millennium came to repair the botched up work that C&A pools have crated. He was professional all the way, was on site when he said they would be there, and we paid for the work after the work was completed rather than before hand. They also took credit cards which made that a lot more convenient and secure as well. Price was fair and we have used them since 2 more times. Once to re-plaster the pool and once to fix the pool pump. Each time we had the same experience. Most importantly, it was extremely easy to get a hold of Stan via phone or e-mail. Everything was always explained well and there was never any pressure. We have since recommended them to our neighbors and they had their pool redone last year.

Cover fell into pool. Did not put all water bags around the pool. Left thermometer in pool to freeze. Called, got no response. UPDATE: Millennium Pool Service came to fix the closing of my pool. This was not possible because of the ice on the pool cover. We discussed this matter and reached an agreement they would open the pool at a reduced price. This was satisfactory with me.

Winterized pool, pump, heater and put on cover. I was not home for the service and have never had a pool so I did not know what to expect. The invoice did not say much and a friend from an out of state pool company commented on a couple items that his company does differently. I sent my concerns to Millennium and received an immediate call offering to send a service man to double check the work to go over everything with me. The serviceman gave me a great deal of confidence and I was very pleased at the promptness to assist with my concerns and educate me as a new pool owner. I did recommend a little more detail on the invoice for future customers like myself who may want to know what was done or if anything is needed to be done.I needed some anchors replaced for my cover but I was not notified, they just left them unhooked. But the quick attention to fix thinks was much appreciated.

This is a great company. We have now worked with them on several projects, and could not be more pleased. They have a level of expertise and quality that is by far the best of any pool company I have worked with. Excellent communication. Work done on time. They really care about their work. Multiple other companies had tried to diagnose our pool leak, and no one could. They found it and repaired it, and at a reasonable price. They also came up with a way to deal with a structural crack, and helped with pool maintenance. My wife and I are thrilled to have found them.

It was great. Paul the technician and then Katy their customer representative were both fantastic. They were very easy to work with and don't hesitate in using them.

I have been losing water in my in-ground pool all year. I have had different companies come out or call w/o showing up. some had no idea the cause of the problem; said it was a cracked pipe that would require replacing the whole pool; some said it was beyond their ability to even diagnose it. MILLENIUM came out and w/in 5 minutes of hearing the problem inspected the skimmer and showed me the broken off pieces (old age in PVC.... pool is about 22 years old). The technician quoted an estimate to dig out old skimmers; replace skimmers w/ new fittings; and re-concrete the pool deck for $3000. He offered a fair discount if we waited til Fall when business slowed down. I will be using them next and update this review.

There was a misunderstanding where my location was. Latter I received a call from Hank and we scheduled a time for them to look at our pool. Look forward to his quote!

I like Millennium Pools. They are thorough, friendly, and not expensive. My only pet peeve is their lack of notification. In each case they had to order a new part, which was OK. I understand that parts for an older model system is not something they would have in stock. But in each case, they dropped the ball when it came to informing me as to the status of the part order. The first time it was six weeks due to the wrong part being ordered, and then the part being on back order. With the second time, the part came early and they were about to show up at my door with no advanced notification. With that said, if you're OK with taking the initiative to call every 10 days or so for status, you'll have no issues with this company. They are a small company, so I do understand that every person there probably has five jobs, and some things will fall through the crack. And I would rather support a small company like this where I get personal service, then some big company who doesn't really care.

I have found the Millennium Pool Service technicians to be very skilled at troubleshooting problems. I was having trouble with air getting in through the suction side of the pump. I had two other pool service companies try and solve the problem and they were not successful. I then scheduled a service call Millennium Pool Service. They found and corrected the problem within 30-45 minutes. I'll be using Millennium Pool Service going forward.

They're fine for monthly cleaning service. I'm not happy with how they open the pool. They come every other week. The bi-weekly cleanings has been excellent! My only objection is the opening of the pool because I still don't think they opened it correctly. I've had to deal with stuff ever since they opened the pool back at the beginning of summer. The bi-weekly cleaning folks have been very professional. The opening folks I did not really appreciate.

I got Greg's number from Dixon Pool service because Millennium pools has equipment that detects leaks inside the pipes. I had to wait for 2 weeks to get an appointment, but he did arrive as scheduled, used his snake camera, found the source of the problem in a crushed pipe and discussed how long it would take to fix. Greg came back 1 week later, and cut through the concrete, dug down to the crushed pipe, cut off the section of pipe that had collapsed, just as he suspected, and replaced that section of pipe. His estimates were correct, and I was lucky that the repair was close to the skimmer. He did not make me pay (like other contractors have) prior to doing the work. So I was very happy that he did the work discussed, and was honest about everything and I happily paid them as soon as I received the bill. This is the way it can work if everyone is upfront and honest. One added bonus to hiring Millennium pool service, is that Greg is very good looking, with a French accent!
