Millennium Pool Service

I hired tis company to replaster my pool 1 & 1/2 years ago. 1) The person who was suppose to give me a quote missed the appointment and didn't call. I had to call him to find out where and why he didn't show. 2) I was told the PM would be there the first day of work and he never showed. When I called and asked him when he would be there he said he wouldn’t because he was shopping for furniture. 3) The company that they hired to do the plaster was terrible. The plaster on the bench in the pool next to the stairs has waves in the curve. I was told they had to free hand and they couldn't make it smooth. 4) The plaster in the Spa around the jets are not smooth. They have big wells around them. I had them repair the worse one and they used a different shade so you can really see the patch. 5) After the replaster, they came out to turn the pool on, one of the guys used a wide brush the pool and left black streaks on the bottom. They had to drain the pool and use acid to clean the streaks. 6) I used them to close and reopen the following spring. They showed up on a Saturday and said they couldn't start the pool because they didn't have a part that was missing on the Heater. (They closed it so what happen to the part!). These two guys took the cover off, put chemicals in, but left the containers and the plugs laying around the pool. They told me that someone from the office would call and tell me when they would be back. By the following Wednesday I had not heard from them so I called. I was told they would be out the following day. No one showed or call. I called the office and was told I wasn't on the schedule, so they put me one the schedule again. And once again they didn't show nor did they call. I called the office again and the same person that help me previously put me on the schedule again. And once again nor did they call. I called the office again, the same person that help me the last two times put me through to the scheduler. He said that if someone had been changing the schedule they should have called me. He put me on the schedule for that Saturday. The person showed up, (another sub) put a plug in the heater, fixed the leak on the pump (which by the way they installed a new one when they closed the pool and evidently the installer pinch the seal that caused the leak), he also replaced the lever that you pull up so you can backwash the filters. Not sure why he did this, because he was not going to clean the pool. He said that he was there to only make sure it started. So Monday, I called the scheduler again and he sent out two more guys. Evidently these two were suppose to quality control. They cleaned the pool, swept the deck, which by the way they used my shop broom that I kept on porch (not sure why they were on my porch). According to the company website, they were suppose to blow off the deck and not sweep everything into a pile for me to cleanup. When I asked the lead quality person, about some spots in the pool, he said that they were dirt stains and will brush out. A year a half later they still have not brushed out. I have no idea what they pour into the pool when they closed it, but it left stains. 7) On 6/26/16, I notice a crack in the plaster, and since the plaster is only 1 ½ years old, I called the office and was told the warranty was only good for 1 yr. WTH, the original plaster lasted over 20!!! I’ll never use this company again!!

It was fantastic, they were very responsive. They came out as often as needed to get the pool looking perfect.

I had a very nice experience with Rubio Morales, the tech who cleaned and services the pool. Rubio is very knowledgeable and did his work efficiently. This is our first experience with a pool and spa and so we asked a million questions to get familiarized with how the system works. He was very patient, explained everything so that it made sense to us and waited while I even took notes. I look forward to enjoying my pool and spa this summer and feel confident that they are being serviced by a competent company.

I've used Millennium Pool now for a few years. This week I had Cameron come out and open my pool. He was very communicative, and called before arrival. As well, he did outstanding work. We had a ton of leaves (and I mean a TON) and he was so great and got them out. Really appreciated all he did. As an aside, there was a small scheduling mix up and Dan M. came out the following day. He was just a courteous, and helpful - even locating my skimmer net which had slipped down below the water line - and silly me couldn't find it! Anyway, they are super and am so glad to have found them to work on our pool!

We had Finn and Cameron open our pool two weeks ago, and Ryan came to clean/service it today. They're all very friendly, knowledgeable guys, more than willing to answer questions and give advice, and they work very hard. Highly recommend. We're signed up for the season, so the cost reflects the full price of the service contract, which includes opening and closing the pool.

Finn immediately troubleshooted and determined the problem with the heater was a clogged filter. He subsequently removed the filter and, at my request wheeled it out to the street, where he thoroughly hosed it off and discovered 4 mouse carcasses encased in the mechanics, which he also removed (a disgusting job to say the least). After the filter was reinserted the heater worked like a charm, absolutely saving the day! Finn also troubleshooted our Polaris and found a worn out part, replaced it, and the Polaris is now working like a champ! Finn has a great, friendly attitude and obviously enjoys his job. He provided well informed advice on pool mechanics, and maintenance and is a wonderful representative of Millennium Pool!

Cameron and Rubio were very personable and did a thorough job of opening our pool. Unlike their competition, they did a complete job, including vacuuming and brushing the pool. We have used Millennium in the past and will continue to do so. For the services provided, I feel the price is very reasonable.

Matt from Milennium pools was very knowledgeable about the pool and equipment. He went far above what other pool people have done before. He fixed all air leaks and got the system up and operational. I am very satisfied with his profession aproach to his work and his determination to find and fix all problems to my satisfaction. I would recommend him to any other customer in the NVA area.. Millenium pools will be the only company I will allow to ever work for me again. I give them an A rating for everything. Gene Miller

We are still happy with them and that's why we keep using them. They are going to do a big thing for us come spring because there is a leak in the pool. They are going to dig the whole thing out. We are happy with them and will continue using them. We are glad we found them. We had a deal set up with them for 3 winter visits. It is $95 per visit. When they come, they look at the pool, add chemicals and take out water if necessary.

Very responsive and professional. Closed pool quickly. Wrote up status of all aspects of pool for our use in selling our house. Previous work replacing pump posed some difficulties; but they took care of all problems.

They came in a team of two guys, they were courteous and on time.The lead guy "Finn" was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all our questions. They were done in a timely manner but not before making sure all was done properly. When they left my husband thought something wasn't done right so he called and they came right out the next day. It turned out everything was fine. We would highly recommend and plan on talking to them about getting some work done on out pool next year.

This was a great service and we plan to use again next year. Before using Millennium, we had problems with keeping the water clear and beautiful for swimming. With the weekly service, they kept everything looking great! There were no issues. Their great service made the pool a maintenance free luxury for us! We just had the closing today. Angelo did the closing and was very professional and provided a good explanation about using chlorine tabs through the winter with a floater. The Millennium team is fabulous!

Our family purchased this home in June of this year without ever owning a swimming pool before. We contacted Millennium Pools and Spa to assist with winterizing the pool. Unlike other companies Matt S. and Peter M. called with a pre-notification to let us know they were headed to our house before the service. This may not seem important to others but to us it was very helpful to know because we have animals in the back yard. Upon arrival at the house Matt and Peter greeted us exuberantly with warm smiles. They introduced themselves with a handshake and confidence. My husband took them back to the back yard to show them the pool and they immediately got to work. This being our first pool, we had tons of questions. We were interested in staining and scaling, heating, a robot, a different cover and multiple other things. Matt and Peter explained what the best options would be, why one option would be better than the other, and how much it would cost. During the winterizing process we also had many questions about what he was doing (blowing out the lines, putting plugs in, different returns lines and such. Matt and Peter were extremely helpful and we will request to use them with any other pool services. There was no shortage of help when it came to the service Matt and Peter provided us.

The two technicians, Mike and Dan H, did a phenomenal job. They were courteous, knowledgeable, and completely professional. They also completed the installation in half of the budgeted time which resulted in significant cost savings for me. I am new to pool ownership and they were very helpful in giving me great recommendations and ideas on how to restore the pool at my new home. They went above and beyond, provided outstanding customer service, and I would highly recommend them.

Millennium Pool Service fixed a leak in my spa. The issue was complex, involving an 18-port manifold in the plumbing. They rebuilt the manifold and installed it. The system now works great.

Finn and Cameron came out today to close up our pool for the season. They were on time, knowledgeable, efficient, professional, and courteous. I will certainly recommend them to others and call them again when it comes time to open our pool in the spring.

Millennium Pool is very responsive and easy to work with. Danny installed the pump, programmed it for us, and explained all the different functions of the pump in great detail. We are new to pools and were full of questions. Danny was extremely patient with us and even left us his cell phone number in case we had problems. Great job!

Pros - Everyone we have worked with was very friendly. Dan who does our weekly pool maintenance is amazing and I will be honest if it was not for him I would probably not continue my service. I cannot say enough good things about him, he spends time with us on each visit and answers our questions about the pool, the chemicals (previous owner left us a box full), he took the ones that were expired for us to dispose of properly saving us a trip to the dump. He has been slowing adding chemicals to help with the staining on the plaster and we are starting to see results after only a few weeks which is great!! He is the only reason I am not giving them C and D ratings. Billing for regular service on our plan is smooth and they charge right to our credit card. Cons - The person who did our pool inspection was average there was a surprising number of things he did not know about the pool that Dan helped us with, like the hot tub had jets that we could turn on, the pool inspector could not find them and determined it did not have this feature. The inspector also could not figure out how to turn on the pool lights (again Dan did!) and determined that they were not operational. The first weekly service person who came seemed to know nothing about the pool. We had been out and when we pulled up he was in his truck getting ready to pull away. He stopped and came out when we pulled and we started asking him questions about the pool operation. When we entered the back the polaris vacuum was shut off and he had left the hose running and had been about to leave if we had not pulled up!!! He did replace the bag on our polaris vacuum he spent the next 45 minutes on the phone trying to figure out. He could not answer any of our questions about the different vales. Billing for non-standard service is a nightmare. On our first visit we had a new bag put on for the polaris vacuum. I am still getting billed incorrectly for it after over a month and multiple emails and phone calls to their AP department. I have been told on multiple occasions it was resolved and yet I still keep getting the bill.

We were impressed by the knowledge and professionalism of the inspector. He was able to tell us a lot about the pool, what was important and what was not, what we would need to do to bring it up to speed and what could wait. Later, after purchasing the home and trying the owners pool service, we switched to Millennium for service and found them much more responsive.

We started using Millennium Pool Service 3 years ago. The house we bought had the pool already built by another pool company. We have had multiple items in need of replacing. Each time it seemed like an emergency to us, Millennium always managed to work us into their schedule, they send competent staff who are patient (we are fairly new to owning a pool), willing to explain what they're doing and why, and are friendly. They work with us on scheduling, since we have two big black dogs that have access to the pool area, in order for our service request to be completed. We have regularly scheduled cleanings once every two weeks. They vacuum, check the chemicals, pH and have replaced the skimmer baskets when we didn't know we needed new ones. Our pool has been crystal clear all year. In 3 years I have not had a complaint, these guys are great.

Upon contacting Millennium Pool Service, their response was quick, providing a very competitive estimate. Liner was installed on time, quality of liner was excellent. Questions/concerns were handled professionally. Very friendly company.

Gabe and his partner found the leak almost immediately, determined that the skimmer intake was cracked and performed a stopgap repair enabling us to use the pool until the end of the season. They were in and out within an hour and even taught me how to do the repair using the epoxy compound they left should we need another emergency fix. I was impressed!

I would probably go back to the company we used last year.
