"It was good. There were certain things that weren't covered under the plan. I'm not sure if they cut the bushes down in the back around the fence. I had to pay extra for that. They should try get me to know the schedule so I know when they're coming and when they're not coming. Other than that, it takes time to get the workers together. I like Patrick and he's the owner. The thing in the firepit was included with the mulch but he said I had to pay for the materials."

Land Clearing Services questions, answered by experts

In Pulaski, surveyors start by confirming legal property boundaries, which is crucial due to the area’s mix of historic and newly developed lots. They assess topography carefully, given Pulaski’s rolling hills, and pay special attention to floodplain mapping near the New River. Surveyors also review past mining activity, check for underground utilities, and evaluate right-of-way and utility easements that may impact access or future property use.

Helpful?

Homeowners in Pulaski are often involved in choosing the survey type—such as boundary, topographic, or subdivision surveys—and clarifying the survey’s purpose. You’ll need to provide property access, decide on the placement of permanent boundary markers, and specify preferences for documenting easements. Your input is also important when coordinating survey timing around construction or sales, and addressing any environmental or historical property concerns.

Helpful?

In Pulaski, maintaining your land survey means checking boundary markers annually, especially after severe weather or flooding. Keep markers visible by trimming vegetation and promptly replacing any that are damaged or missing. Update your survey records if you add structures, change easements, or notice land shifts—common near the New River or in areas with mining history. Regular attention helps protect your property rights and ensures records remain accurate.

Helpful?

Completing a land survey in Pulaski can boost your home’s value and resale appeal by ensuring accurate property boundaries and clear legal descriptions. This is especially beneficial for properties near waterways or in rural settings, where boundaries may be uncertain. A current survey can highlight development opportunities, resolve potential disputes, and give buyers confidence, making your property more marketable in the Pulaski real estate market.

Helpful?

Before scheduling a land survey in Pulaski, gather your property deed, previous surveys, and county tax records. Include any building permits, utility easement agreements, and HOA covenants. If your property is near the New River, have flood insurance documents available. For rural areas, collect well and septic records, plus any documentation of past boundary disputes or mining rights, to help your surveyor prepare thoroughly.
