"I hired a man to remove a old tin shed. He tore down the shed and threw all it's contents onto my cement slab and stated he would be back the next day to take to the dump. He never returned. I made the mistake to pay him in advance and was devastated. I had to save up the money to have it removed because of my limited income. It took 2 years, but I finally called "Under one Roof" and Kevin and his crew removed a dumpster of trash from my cement slab. They were through, reliable, trustworthy. Use a regular screwdriver to pop off the snap ring, and the rest of the components should fall off by themselves.

If everyone in your household is on board with proper care and maintenance, like running water while operating the disposal, you should get plenty of years out of your unit. Avoid putting the wrong food items down the disposal, including pasta, rice, bread, and more.
