He cleaned up water inside my house where roof was leaking , he went above and beyond what I expected. He took time to explain step by step , very professional and friendly! "Horrible customer service and the product is only getting worse over time. I have ordered 16 shutters from them over 5 separate orders during the last two years. A recent order late last year came with parts missing and getting replacement parts was a hassle because I had to provide pictures. How do you provide pictures of missing parts? My most recent order arrived without the mounting strips and blocking strips being pre-drilled. I received the screws and screw covers but no holes for them. After multiple back and forth with "Angie" from customer service I was forwarded a poorly spelled response from their supplier stating "usually" they don't pre-drill holes. Usually? All of my other shutters over the last two years were pre-drilled. I was then told it was my fault because this order was a single panel shutter vs all my previous orders being dual shutters and I would have to pay to get replacement strips with pre-drilled holes in them. What does a single vs a dual shutter have to do with whether or not holes are drilled in hanging and blocking strips?"

In the late 1990’s we began providing shutters to the Northern Virginia, Washington DC, and Maryland area. In 2003 we branched towards the beach area, servicing Virginia Beach, Tidewater and Hampton Roads. "This was our second time working with Sunrise Shutters to buy/install several pleated/cellular shades. The window measurement/shade installation seemed to go well, just like last time. But after testing the shades more thoroughly once the installers had gone, one shade was very tight in the window frame. This makes it difficult to raise/lower the shade. We called the installers about this issue, and they came back to the house the next day to assess the situation. As my husband and I understood it, the installers were going to order us a replacement shade to resolve the issue. I contacted the company several weeks later as we hadn't yet been contacted about installing the replacement shade. I talked to the owner and a replacement shade had not been ordered. The owner said he could trim down the shade--that was the only option. I am disappointed that we did not get a replacement shade."

"You should probably add 4-6 weeks to the expected delivery date if you expect to need the "enclosed" hardware. I received the blinds in the estimated time, but it came without the required hardware. I have made 4 calls (at least) over several weeks, but the hardware is nowhere in site. It is clear that SelectBlinds.com is a marketing company only has outsourced all production and fulfillment to third parties and evidently has a difficult time coordinating these type of customer service issue. Extremely frustrating that my blinds have been sitting in the floor for over a month and all I need is a few screws. Happy to go to Home Depot to get the screws, but SelectBlinds can't even tell me what sizes I need."
