Home Depot was really annoying. The pricing was unbeatable and they had the exact type of window treatment I wanted but it was so impossible to get the order through at the store. The manager in charge of that store department didn't speak English very well so it's very hard to communicate about what I wanted and also to get any confirmation that my order was placed and the timing and shipment of the orders. Once they were installed by the Home Depot installer, he was amazing. The professionalism of the people in the store was not very good.

They are responsive with any questions. The inventory is limited compared to other locations but we have been able to find what we need.

Incompetence and poor customer service.

I was trying to using some of the guides that were available in the shop on my own. I had ended up getting the wrong part. I went in to talk to one of their people. He said, "Oh, yes." He talked me through the process and got the right part. He gave me store credit. The part that I actually needed was cheaper than the one that I had bought. He gave me some cash back along with correct part. I go in there for tools. Occasionally, I get construction material or yard stuff. I would say if you've got any questions then rather than trying to puzzle things out yourself, talk to one of their on-hand experts. They're very willing to give a hand, especially f it's something small and simple. Certainly, when I've been looking for a particular tool, part, some material, or something, they're a very good resource. The prices have been reasonable and a little better than average. They're more than willing to do a refund if you get the wrong thing or too much. The one thing I have a problem with Home Depot, in general, was that they subcontract some of their Home Depot installation work. Sometimes that can be a problem. I've had problems with some of their subcontractors.

Our overall experience with them was excellent. They have reasonable prices. They were punctual, responsive, and professional.

.I haven't had to use my warranty yet but they are good to deal with.

They have a great selection. They are very available when you need them. They have great customer service. I would recommend them to others and I would use them again.

Scheduled estimate - one week wait seemed long, but acceptable. Then on day of estimate, estimator called and said he would do estimate over the phone - a practice discouraged by consumers report as very inaccurate. Then said he would mail out the estimate and recommended AC and furance unit information. One week later nothing received yet. Have been without AC for two weeks now. Very poor service.

This was a nightmare! Home Depot uses one subcontractor to take measurements, and then another subcontractor does actual installation work. Three men showed up with bad attitudes, and unable or "unwilling" to speak English. It was clear they did not want me watching them work or having any say in what was happening in my house. At 6 pm, they finally got to the dining room and realized measurements for the dining room were wrong and the carpet was too small by more than 1 foot on all sides. It took another month to get replacement carpeting, but the dye lot was different. Now the dining room carpet does not match living room color. I had to badger Home Depot management at 7 Corners to give me refund. They reluctantly gave me meager $200 credit for my inconvenience (when overall job cost me $7,000), and I had to call several times (and then visit in person) to follow up to actually receive the credit. No one ever apologized. I WILL NEVER USE HOME DEPOT AGAIN!

THE WORKERS WERE LOUSY. THE REPRESENTATIVE WAS VERY MISLEADING FOR HOME DEPOT. I WAS VERY DISSATISFIED WITH THE WORK, AS WELL AS THE DEMEANOR OF THE WORKERS.
