I like what I do. Always something different, and always meeting new people. I've been doing plumbing/handyman services for over 35 years, and I still learn something almost every day. My work has carried me all over Virginia, and my customers have always called me for more work when they needed it.\nI like that. "The job came out looking good, but there were some problems...a broken light fixture, (repaced by Matthew) busted water hose nozzle and a busted bed out of MY wheelbarrow. Matthew also required all money before the job was finished, which should not be the case. However, I am happy with the work performed, and Matthew was very personable and easy to work with. He should take a look, though at how he goes about asking for payment in the future, after the job is done."

"Jonathan Bales is one of the nicest, most accommodating workers we've ever hired. He listened to what we wanted and asked questions to make sure he understood. He was on time and worked till the job was finished, not just done, but done well, to his own high standards. The job was to paint the inside and outside of our french-style front door. There were several layers of paint to sand off before applying the new paint. The doors also had a few spots that needed repairs. He did the whole job on 2 day's time. The color is a beautiful shade of dark blue, and it is beautiful. We were very happy with his work, and especially with his prices."

"I had just one block of a fence which was slanted, and the nails had come off, and it had to be repaired. The first time I had an appointment, this company didn't show up at all that day, and called me another day. However, I agreed and they came over. The owner was definitely trying to make a quick buck, and initially quoted $450 for that fence. I told him that is too much. Then he came down to $350, and I eventually ended up paying $300, which he did it JUST because it was me. His 2 men came, and they were done in 10 minutes to take out the old nails and used their pneumatic gun to shoot new nails into the fence. The job itself was well done, and I have no complaints about that. Had I known it was a 10 minute job, I would have bargained more. However, I was left wondering why did he charge me $300 for a job that takes 10 minutes. But where is the ethics?"
