Josh King of Sunny Day Painting is a top notch professional small business owner and painter. I hired him for a half-bath to half-bath/laundry room conversion project. He replaced and repaired drywall and ensure a flawless, seamless finish and then painted entire space including trim, walls, and ceiling. He is thorough, detail-oriented, and tidy. He delivered on budget and on time, and he kept me informed throughout the project. I highly recommend him and will hire him again.

Josh has that wonderful combination of easy-going, friendly nature while also being incredibly knowledgeable and detailed in his work. he was recommended to me by a contractor who had done a wonderful repair on a exterior door. Josh went above and beyond on painting the exterior of our 100 year old cottage in Goochland., even replacing some of the woodwork and securing and repairing windows. He communicated regularly throughout and kept me appraised of where things stood with cost. I have just bought an investment property in Waynesboro and will be reaching out to Josh to see if he will make the drive down and do the painting. What a great experience working with this man.

Josh was not only professional, efficient, and careful, he also went the extra mile to help make sure the windows would open, to repair things we didn't know needed help, and he cleaned up every day. He was also very friendly and our dog loved him! His work as high quality and I loved that he spent the time really doing everything right and in a way that will last. He also gave us great local recommendations and has been a great help gathering a local team of trades people to help maintain the old house.

Excellent communication before the job. Arrived on time and went right to work. He took care not to track anything through the house and cleaned up and put everything back before leaving. Did an excellent paint job.

Joshua King is a true craftsman with a brush and a consummate professional. He took meticulous care in all of the exterior painting that he did for my project, which included vinyl siding, metal doors and windows and wood trim. Since he started the project early Spring, he was quite careful to ensure the proper temperature and weather conditions were in place for the paint to stick and dry well before any rain. The finish is beautiful and I feel quite confident it will last a good, long time. The reasonable price he quoted was exactly what I paid and the job was completed on time. I was very happy with his work and would both use him again for other projects as well as highly recommend him to others.

It's not often I hire a contractor to come do work for me at my home because there's not much I can't do and I know what I like, but I've been so busy lately with having surgery I have not been able to do the things I would like to my home such as paint. Well I started looking and through the word of mouth I was told to check out Joshua gea king with (sunny day painting), so I did and man did I make a great decision. He came to my home and performed a walk through with me to take pictures, discuss what I would like, and to get everything he need to write up a proper proposal. I received a great price/proposal in a timely fashion, and to my surprise it was a great price for all I needed done. Including holes in sheet rock patched, holes and cracks in wooden trim, ceilings painted, trim painted, walls painted and much more. I advised him to go ahead and put me on schedule to move forward with the work. Within next day I was on schedule. Work was done in timely fashion and done with extreme professionalism. From here on out there will be no one else I will call to fulfill my painting needs. Anyone needing some painting done do not be afraid to check him out he is absolutely outstanding and you will not be disappointed I guarantee it

Josh paint a number of rooms for us including repainting some dents. the walls and ceilings look great. Josh as very responsive, easy to work with, and finished in a timely manner. The only negatives were some paint fallings.
