I contacted Atlantic about the Big Deal, scheduled a time for the appointment, which took place on time as set. The owner Joe Glazebrook was professional and customer friendly upon arrival and explained the services offered on the coupon, as well as a brochure with roofing replacement options. He then went upon the roof to do the inspection and reseal/touch up around the roof penetrations and chimney flashings. Then, he came down and explained everything looked satisfactory at present, but that withing the next two-three years I may need a roof replacement.

It went well. The only problem I had was a cap on the pipe that was not included in the price so I had to pay extra. Other than that, they did a good job.

Of course they had to change the dates a couple of times do to Rain but overall I am extremely satisfied with their work and workers. Excellent clean-up of yard. Old roof singles completely removed and 2 pieces of plywood replaced.

Overall, inspection went well. Called made appt for Jan 23, 2012. Inspection on roof was done, no photos taken. maintenace consisted of resealing pipe collars, caulking exposed nail heads; inspect wall flashing; recaulk flashing at corners of all. A list on company paper was given to me checked off which items he performed. He commented roof was in great shape. No inspection was done in the attic. For what was performed, I think it was great price for the quality of work as I watched him through the windows on second story house.

Roofing crew arrived on time, but not on the original date. The work progressed nicely and was finished by the end of the day. We were very pleased with the outcome and the process was professional.

We had two roof leaks that we were aware of and we had previously used another competitor for professionals, there were a joke. I joined Angie's List because of future home improvement projects and this one was much needed. I made calls to at least 5 companies and only 3 came out. As stated above, they made two repairs to an existing roof for us to fix the water leaks. The only issues I had with the company was after the initial meeting, it took weeks for me to get the estimate and another couple of weeks to have the work done (very frustrating).

call . outstanding service, agent was not pushy nor easy fix oriented. Explained every step in detail for sunroom roof repair. They even filed the warranty on a new roof for us. Definitely will use them again.

I told them I would like to go ahead with the repair. It took a while for them to schedule a time. I finally called and asked if I should get someone else to do the job, but they eventually got to it. Because starlings had built a nest under one of the shingles they had had replaced, Donald said he would come back and fix it so they couldn't come back. I called after the birds left and also asked for an estimate on another small job I wanted done. I finally got a call back asking me to call back to schedule a date. Called back, got no answer, left a voice message and noone has got back to me. Although their work seemed good, their responsiveness is below average.

Purchased on 1/22.Called 2/6 to set up appointment and the person I spoke with acknowledged my information. She also stated that since I lived in Newport News, it might take longer than usual to get the work done. I said I was fine with that as long as I knew when it might be. I was told that my information would be given to the person who does the work and he would call me back to schedule a time. Several days later, after having received no response, I called back. The person I spoke with said she was surprised that the person doing this work hadn't called me back but that she would contact him and have him call me as soon as possible. I did not receive a return call. On 2/16, I called a 3rd time. This call went to voice mail that assured me that if I left a message, which I did, someone would call me back by 5 PM. I received no callback. I again contacted the office on 2/17 and was given an alternate number, someone's cell phone. The call to that number went to voice mail so I left a message. I did not receive a call back. At that time I emailed the email address on the website, which turned out to be the owner. I detailed my frustration. I received a phone call within a few minutes from Mr. Glazebrook. He apologized profusely for his staff's inability to set up an appointment and assured me that the person who normally does this work would call me back shortly to set up an appointment for the next day. He also stated that he would reimburse me for the cost of the inspection. This person did call back and we set up the appointment for the next day, which was a Saturday. The person arrived as scheduled and performed the work as arranged. He pointed out a couple of minor issues that might need further attention. When I asked about having them repaired, he said that when he returned to the office he would work up an estimate. In the course of our conversation, with many apologies for failing to follow-up sooner, he mentioned that he might not get paid for his time/work. I sent Mr. Glazebrook another email stating that his employee "has been here and completed his inspection/maintenance. He showed me pix of some cracked caps and said he would get me a quote on necessary repairs. Last night you mentioned reimbursing me for the $149 cost of this coupon. I understand that these are tough times for small businessmen and I was not expecting you to do that. I am satisfied with the work done and what I paid. As I stated in my previous e-mail, I know I'm looking at a new roof within a couple of years and ndash; perhaps we can compromise with $150 off of future work?" I have never received any follow-up to that email, nor have I received "a professional plan of action". And as expected, I was not reimbursed, but since he offered I figured he would at least acknowledge my offer of $150 off future work.

I felt more comfortable with them, as I spoke to the owner, who came personally for the quote. I have chosen them to do the job and will use them in future.

The owner, Joe Glazebrook, came out and did a and quot;no-pressureand quot; estimate. He came so highly recommended that I didn't get another bid. The main roof work was completed in 2 1/2 days on our 3,000 SF home. It rained very hard after the first day's work but they had covered the unfinished roof with tarps and has completed the tar paper as well so there weren't any problems with leaking into the attic. Make sure that you have items in the attic properly covered because it will be a mess! This was not cleaned up by the contractor. The workers showed up in Atlantic Craftsman company trucks and did cleanup after each day of work. I was a bit unhappy because they parked their truck on our front lawn after it rained but the workers fixed the lawn before leaving for the day. I am still waiting on the 40 point GAF factory agent (independent of Atlantic Craftsman Company) to do the final inspection for the roof. The wrong skylights were ordered (we wanted ones that opened and fixed ones were ordered) so that part of the job has not been completed. I will update when this is done.
