"I do not normally leave reviews but I was so impressed with the level of service and professionalism that John from Thoro-clene provided I thought it needed to be recognized. I found Thoroclene because of the high number of positive reviews they had already received and they did not disappoint. We had several puppy pet stains and a soda explosion in our new home. John came in and went through each room with us. (UVlight was eye opening! :) In very short order he explained what the stain removals would require and what treatment was needed then he went to work. He finished the entire home in under 3 hours from start to finish and it looks amazing. I would highly recommend their services to anyone and will definitely use them in the future if needed. Spring and fall are the best seasons for installing carpet. Both seasons benefit from moderate temperatures and low humidity levels, which can help the carpet acclimate to the room and settle properly once installed. However, installing carpet during the winter months could result in lower costs, as demand for this service is low.

While it's possible to cover asbestos tile with carpet, it's not recommended. Encapsulating tile beneath carpet doesn't eliminate the health risks. Over time, the asbestos tiles could degrade, releasing fibers into the air and potentially contaminating the carpet. Disturbance during carpet installation or removal might also release fibers.

Decent carpet will last around 10 years on stairs. Some less durable carpets, like polyester, will only last five years on stairs. The ideal carpet, like wool or nylon, can last about 15 to 25 years.
