They badly scratched my new $1600 sofa and ran away. Move did not happen. When they came, they ask for more money on the same amount of furniture thats already been estimated. We agreed on paying more. I told him clearly that i have very expensive furniture. I need it to be unassembled and properly shrink-wrapped and protected in blankets. He assured he will do the same. I asked him i want to buy additional insurance just in case and he refused by saying that accidents never happened with us and we are professionals. I trusted him and as soon as i gave him a green signal to start the work, he went to my upstairs living room and start bringing the sofa down. One of his men carry all the cushions together and threw them in the truck. No initial planning or organization. I told him that sofa needs to be unassembled first as its big and stair passage is small, even the main door was small and it was unassembled into three pieces when we first bought it. No body listened to my instructions. I keep telling them that please put the sofa down. it will not come down like this. u need to unassemble it first but they simply refuse to do what i was saying and keep brining the sofa down. It scratched the wall badly, sofa was badly scratched. and then the owner said there were scratches before he touched it.I showed him the wall and the sofa and he amazingly keep lying right in front of 4 of us family members. Then again the sofa was stuck on the main door and he handled it so badly that door frame was broken and sofa was again scratched then finally he unassembled its legs and sofa came out of the house. He put the sofa on the drive way and when i said it has no legs and its sitting on its art work, in order to see what he did, he dragged the sofa on the concrete creating more damage to the art work. I was so p***** off as i mentioned him before that i have expensive furniture and i need special care and this is what i got. When i told him i want u to fix this damage, he sat in his truck and ran away! It was indian owner with bunch of maxicans from the street who does not know basics of moving. I was screwed on the day i planned my move and many other things were depending on that move.
