Ronnie and his helper were great! He called prior to his arrival. They were timely, courteous, explained what was going on through the process. You can tell he enjoyed his job and knew what he was doing. Will definitely use them again.

Jacob was punctual professional and explained everything along the way. The job took two days and they were absolute professionals.. While they were in my attic they even removed several old wires that served no purpose at no additional charge! My attic space is now cleaner and all is up to code. It gives me peace of mind for my families safety.

The service technician was competent and efficient. However, the price was significantly higher than expected. Allgood Electric was referred to us by Home Depot Pro Services. I purchased the ceiling fan from Home Depot. They would not quote a price but I expected they would arrange a reasonably priced installation. Now I realize I should've walked away. Allgood charged us $129. I later discovered I could have had the same service arranged by Amazon Prime Home Service for less than $79. This was a relatively simple job -- removing one fan and installing an exact replacement -- so I was disappointed with the price.

Ron came to our house to install the following electrical. Installed 2 new ceiling fans with remotes. Added 8 new LED canned ceiling lights to our den. Added 3 new LED under cabined lights in our kitchen.. Trimmed kitchen ceiling canned lights with LED lights. Ron was professional, courteous, knowledgable and proficient. I would highly recommend Ron and Allgood for future home projects..

Not good -- 15 minutes work cost me $160!!!

They were very quick and very pleasant people. I have nothing but high remarks for them. I thought it was great that they protected their shoes when they came in our house and not many contractors do that anymore.

I called, made an appointment, and an electrician was at my home in less than an hour! Josh was awesome! He fixed the issue and was able to address any ridiculous electrical question I threw at him ;-) He also gave me some insight that may have saved me hundreds of dollars. Highly recommended and it's quite clear why this business is rated so highly.

To replace 3 switches , their cost was over $500.00. Totally way over priced. This company is not in touch with the community. Trying to take advantage of the elderly. I am very disappointed with this company.

The technician appeared to be very knowledgeable, but didn't actually perform all of what the offer had stated. This could have possibly been contributed to inspection and our conversation and things got a little side tracked. However, it was the responsibility of the technician to complete the requirements of the offer I paid for regardless. A checklist should have been used for overall completion and it was not.

It went well, however when technician first came out he forgot to remove outlet to check wire type. Technician was professional however because he didn't check wire price of job increased significantly. He ran 90 feet of Romex 10/3 which if you price at Home Depot is only around $130 for 250ft. Permit was not pulled but was advised they didn't need to pull permit and would otherwise assume penalty if issue was to come up.

Electrician arrived on time, explained what he would do and went to work. Found one problem and fixed another I knew about. He took 20 minutes to do an estimate. I do not know how he arrived at the price, the inspection took 45 minutes, replacing the switches took 20 minutes, while I have no way to judge I thought $297 was a little high for the work done.

The technician was great. He did everything he was supposed to do according to the deal I purchased. My disappointment with the company came after the evaluation. Several seemingly minor things were identified as needing attention. I requested a quote and was prepared to go forward with needed repairs. I received the quote via email while on the phone with the technician who was to go over the quote with me. Aside from the astronomical amount given of $5900 to do the work, I was disappointed to find that there was no breakdown as to what service would cost what. I was told that was just how the company does their quotes. I've never heard of a contractor keeping this information from the customer. It makes me question the fairness of the total amount, especially considering it seemed substantially higher than what it should be, and it makes me question the integrity of the company for the lack of transparency. I'm shocked at the number of reviews that show high ratings for this company given the many other reviews I read with similar complaints as mine. I recommend anyone who gets a quote from this company to not make it your only quote. The grades I'm giving, other than the overall grade which takes into consideration the quote issue, are based on the $29 deal that was honored as expected and based on the good work done by the technician. I did feel that $29 was a fair price for the evaluation I received.

Ron did the work and gave us the estimates. He has done work for us before from Allgood. Work has always been done correctly, properly, and neatly in the past. Same type of service this time also.

Power was restored. This is the only electrician I'll be calling in the future.

Provider came on time, and proceeded to learn all sorts of new things about the strange wiring in my house. Spent more time than he expected or budgeted going through all the strangeness and finding out where every last outlet and light were hooked to. There are a couple of mystery breakers, but we believe they are for outside outlets - he could not confirm those. Overall very good visit, and lots of help from the provider.

I don't like to leave negative reviews, but this experience left me very angry. I called Allgood to provide an estimate on a variety of electrical repairs and upgrades, based on all of the positive reviews on Angie's List. The initial contact was fine. The electrician showed up as scheduled and spent more than an hour with me going over the items on my list and identifying what needed to be done and how. I thought that some of the easier items would be done on the first visit, but it turns out that the initial visit was just for the purpose of preparing an estimate. When I received the estimate by e-mail a few days later, I was shocked by the dollar amount: over $11,000 to (1) replace an outdoor GFCI outlet, (2) install two porch lights under a deck, (3) replace a breaker box in the garage and (4) run an electric line about 150' feet to control the front gate (cost exclusive of trenching). The two easy items alone (#1 and #2) would cost an "investment" of $768.00. I expected something closer to $250.00. I was so angry that I decided to do it myself. The GFCI replacement cost me $15.00 in parts and took 30 minutes (would have been 10 minutes but for a stripped screw). The porch light installation cost me about $40.00 in parts and took 4 hours (including the trip to Lowe's to buy parts and get advice from the "fertilizer guy" about how to connect the wires). It wasn't brain surgery and, if Ben Franklin was right, I earned about $700 last Sunday afternoon. I've also seen Angie's List Big Deals for the breaker box replacement in the $1,000 to $1,250 range (not $6,069 as quoted by Allgood). I'm really not sure what happened here, but this was not right. Customer beware and get additional quotes for comparison.
