Allgood Electric

I was extremely satisfied with the electrician who did the work and I would definitely recommend him without reservations. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was done correctly and even saved me some money by recommending that I did not need to replace the kitchen light (as I had been told) but only repair the loose connection. A very positive experience.

Everything went extremely well. We got the estimate from Troy and scheduled the work at our convenience. The electrician, Arturo, was punctual, professional, and quick. All work was completed in less than 2 hours. Art check the circuits to ensure all was well before he left. We were very pleased and impressed with the service we got from Allgood Electric and would not hesitate to use them again.

I went to replace an electrical exhaust fan in my home. My home was built in 1968 and to make a long story short, I really didn't have a clue what I was doing. Well, short of my house catching on fire, I kept tripping the main breaker and it turned into a mess. I looked on "Angie's list" and found a company called "AllGood Electric". They had a really great rating with plenty of pleased customers so I gave them a call. I wasn't disappointed. They came out and did a wonderful job with a better than expected price. The electrical serviceman was professional and very knowledgeable. He went right to work and knocked it out in less than an hour. I would highly recommend this company for your electrical needs.

The tech, "A.C.", was great! What I hoped would be easy, wasn't. But A.C. worked his hardest to do the job the most efficient & safest way, at the best cost. He had to go into the attic & drill thru a 1- 1/2 inch board as well as cut a small hole in the den wall to drill thru another one he couldn't reach thru the attic. He did it with hardly any mess! And he explained beforehand what he would need to do & asked if that was ok. A.C. made sure I understood all that he was doing & why it needed to be done that way. He was here for several hours, working hard. Very diligent. I was impressed with his ability & his customer relations with me & my elderly mom. Super professional & nice. A.C. did a great job of cleaning up in the den where he had to cut the hole in the wall, explaining how we could fix around the hole to get it back to the original look. Troy in the office was very nice & helpful when I called to set up the appointment, giving me information about the job so I could let my brother know what was going to be done. The price was very fair - something I greatly appreciate with the economy the way it is. Allgood did a great job! - fair price, quality work, was on time, very professional, great communication from the office & the technician to me. I would highly recommend Troy at Allgood and his tech, A.C., to anyone needing good quality electrical work in their home. Without a doubt. Thanks guys, for the the great job!! I contacted them by sending an electronic message through their website. I promptly received a phone call and they scheduled me for the next day. Ron showed up promptly at the set time and checked out a couple of minor issues, showed me how to solve a problem with my house alarm system then gave me a quote for the indoor switch. The job was scheduled for the following Friday. Ron showed up on time and had the work completed within 3 hours. Everything went very smoothly. I am very pleased with their responsiveness and their work. I plan to have them do some other work in the near future.

I called Allgood for a quote on hooking up my new hot tub. They were busy, but the owner had someone call me that afternoon to arrange a time to come by and take a look at what I needed. We agreed to meet the next morning at 8:00. Eli showed up at 7:45. Very punctual. He took a look at what needed to be done and came up with a few alternatives. I had a previous quote that included having to trench across my yard. Eli suggested just running conduit under the sofit of my home at a much cheaper price. I loved his creativity. I received a quote within fifteen mintues and agreed to the price. He quickly went to get the need parts and returned to start the work. When the hot tub was delivered, the company that I purchased the hot tub did not supply the needed connection. Eli quickly made a call, gave me an updated quote, ran to the store, and had it all hooked up in less than an extra hour. Very good service and a quality job.

They are open 7 days a week and they have different numbers to call from different areas which is very convenient. We have a very difficult house and we are happy with the work they did. The quality of work they did was great. They were very punctual and were here on time. We would like them to rewire the whole house eventually and they have already informed us that this would be expensive and not worth spending so much. They are very helpful.

We chose them because we needed something done right away. He came over right away at the time that he said he was going to be here, and he finished too within the scheduled time. His price was good. The work turned out very good. I called him again to do something else too.

I called Troy on a Sunday - he was in the middle of a seminar but still answered his phone! We scheduled a time for him to come by the next day to assess the problem. He was here on time, identifed what the problem was (loose wire in a closet outlet), and made the repair. I felt silly that it was only a loose wire but due to the location of the outlet, we probably wouldn't have been able to identify the problem on our own. I was thrilled with Allgood Electric and will recommend Troy to anyone. We plan on doing some remodeling and we will use Allgood for our lighting upgrades.

They were friendly and nice. They were also knowledgeable and knew what they were doing. They also provided a guarantee to fix anything that broke.

Excellent, he did not do work that was discovered to be unneeded and stated that if problem developed to call him at home on weekend and he would come and finish the install.

Called for complicated job. Was told would take until following week. Received a call by technician middle of following week. Informed that he would be at the house in less than 2 hours. He never arrived nor called back.

I decided to go with them because I was a little frustrated with my previous electrician. I needed some answers on some things especially because I am getting a new oven. I picked them off of Angie?s List, and they were very good. They were very helpful and very punctual. I had to ask them another question after they had finished their work, and they called me right back. I?m not sure what the going rate is, and so I don?t know how their price would compare. I ended up having to pay for services that I thought I had completed or done earlier. I would use them again.

I called and said the new water wasn't getting any power. He asked what brand the breaker panel was and I read the name to him over the phone within 30 minutes Troy sent a tech over with the correct switch and it was fixed. They were very fast and efficient. I was also pleased that there was an Angie's coupon so I saved $25.

Ronnie arrived on time and ready to work. He was not the person who originally came for the estimate, so we reviewed what was to be done. He was accompanied by another gentleman who helped him with the foyer chandelier since it required a large ladder. He then proceeded to the dining room. The work required him to cut into our walls and ceiling to thread wire from a light switch to the chandelier. He cut the smallest holes possible and left the cutouts for the repair work. He also checked with me each time he needed to cut another hole to make sure I knew what he was doing. I appreciated his professionalism and quality of his work.

Allgood Electric did a wonderful job. They were very concerned with how all work would look, as well as perform. The job was completed in a timely manner and everyone was very polite and professional.

I called Troy Allgood to ask if he could assist me in determining the electrical needs of an older home that my buyers were under contract to buy explaining that the home inspection revealed some electrical issues that needed further evaluation. After some talk about the pros and cons of working with Realtors and the feasiblity of generating future business and income from such evaluations (which I totally understand), he agreed to assist me. He was not feeling well, in fact, he sounded very sick, and said if I could send him the inspection, maybe he could give me a ball park figure from the report and photos which he did. He asked if that was good enough or did I need to have someone come look at the property. I told him we were wanting to add a few things such as dryer connection in garage and outlet in the bathroom, etc. He agreed to send one of his workers the next morning. It appeared his workers were tied up on jobs, so he personally came and I could tell he was still not feeling well, but he did a thorough investigation of the property and gave me an estimate on the spot.

Technically he performed superbly but at the end, his refusing to remove the old fan was unacceptable. If they will not do so, the company should make the customer aware of this before they come out so as in my case, that would allow me to find a company would will.

My electricity was intermittently shutting off for about 3 weeks. I called Allgood and they were very responsive and came within 1 hour. The technician was able to identify the problem as a deteriorating main breaker and replaced it. He was very helpful and answered all my electical questions.

We had an emergency call A/C not working with elderly occupants. Call our service company County Wide and they came over and told us that the switch in attic for blower power was bad. They recommended Allgood Electric. They were very receptive to our status(high temps outside) and Troy told us he would send someone within the hour. The electrician was there as promised and told us the switch was never installed and wired correctly so he replaced and rewired for us and we had air again with our appreciation. My wife asked if they could take care of 2 other items we had on our previous home inspection which was the breaker mis-sized and the bath receptical not being a GFI. He said that they would come back first thing Monday and take care of these items and not charge an additional service call fee. This puts them over and above any service company we have ever used and I would recommend them to anyone needing electrical work.

They had to bring another person to help install it through the atic. They did a good job.

It took longer than I thought it would but everything was always done to my approval. If I wasn't happy, the fixed it. In fact, some walls had to be cut, and he recommended a contractor (Bueno Remodeling) and they did a good job of getting things back to normal. Love having lights and switches everywhere, and feel much safer. They often had better ideas for doing things than I could have conceived. I am very happy! I only had one issue. When they dug the trench to bury the wires, part of my sprinkler was REALLY messed up, but the electrician tried to fix it, but let's just say, he's not a sprinkler guy and it is all going to have to be redone. All in all though, it seems like a small price to pay for so much work being done. It was a lot. In a 1930 house, I feel like I got off easy! (Honestly, if I complained, I bet they'd come out to fix the sprinkler, but I'd rather my awesome sprinkler guy (Landscape Management) come back and fix it correctly (that's his business).
