Allgood Electric

Service person introduced himself. Did an asessment of work that was to be done and proceeded to do it. Outside light needed a new socket . Service person had to pick up one, returned with it and finished the work. There was a coupon on Angie's List that could have been used but wasn't used and I didn't receive a receipt of the socket that had to be purchased . But I am satisfied with the work that was done.

They were prompt, courteous, worked steadily and carefully. They cleaned up the sheetrock dust and debris and left the counters and floors cleaner than when they arrived! The outdoor work was completed just as carefully with the sod replaced over the trench that had been dug to hold the pipe with the electrical line.

Our first experience with Allgood. I like their policy of having the estimating electrician also perform the work. Their estimate was somewhat below a competing company also recommended by Angie's List. Our serviceman, Dayn, was terrific from the estimate & planning phase to the completion. Very articulate and knowledgeable about his trade. After providing an estimate, Dayn also helped us choose the right parts and equipment. He even reviewed the installation instructions on a retrofit bathroom fan. All the work was competed to the highest standards and with the proper equipment required by code. Very professional and would recommend Allgood to anyone.

My overall experience with AllGood Electric and Dayn was very rewarding. I am impressed with the company ,even with the person that schedules the appointments. I will always call them for any electrical problems that I have in the future. I highly recommend them.

Mr. Hall is an excellent electrician. We were also pleased with his customer service.

Arrived within an acceptable time frame. The young man who had given me the estimate brought one other guy to help him so it went fast. Took about 2.5 hours I think. Cleaned up everything very well. I have loved the additional lighting, which I waited too long to repair. I will definitely use them again-straightforward, honest, and reasonable cost.

I purchased the coupon special that provided $200.00 worth of service for $99.00. This took care of the labor and we only had to pay for the parts. We called on a Thursday and the individual was able to get us scheduled for the following Tuesday. The serviceman was prompt, professional and informative. We desired to have an additional outlet installed during the same visit, but the voltage requirements prevented them from being able to install this. Therefore, I am not sure if I got my money's worth from a labor standpoint. Although I only paid $99.00, I didn't actually receive the amount of service work that equates to $200.00.

It went awesome. He was friendly, got right to work, and completed the job promptly. I will use him again. I had to wait a week to get him to come out, but he called the day of the appointment and asked if I would like it if he came out earlier to which I agreed and appreciated.

Electrician Dane was professional, informative and polite. After job was done I did call him about something else (outdoor lights) and he did not call me back. However, I would still recommend him since he seems to know what he is doing. Rates are not cheap (I used a coupon also), but I believe you get what you pay for.

I got then off Angie's List booklet. The price was excellent. The quality of work was good. They were on time. They were professional too. I am pleased with them. Everything is working fine.

Outstanding, from first contact through completion, Allgood was extremely professional, courteous, listened to all our concerns, extremely empathetic of our circumstances, and quick to respond. The electrician was also very courteous, explained each issue he found and how he would fix it, and reassured us that our house was safe again. I would definitely recommend Allgood to anyone for electrical needs and will definitely use them for all our future needs. I can't express how much we appreciate the entire experience with Allgood.

The electrician came out to give an estimate of the things I needed repaired. The big deal was $99 for $200 of electrical work so you kind of have to take their word for it...I had a ceiling fan that had no remote (wasn't left behind by the other homeowner) so he changed out that remote (I purchased) the same day; I also had two balasts in ceiling lights in garage that needed replacing and he didnot have those parts on the truck so he had to come back another day to that, so I paid an additional $85 for the parts and labor (I guess) so the job ended up costing me $184.00 anyway. I asked for an estimate for some future electrical work (running electrial/power to my shed) and he provided that as well with the caveat that it is only good for 30 days because the cost of the copper wire fluctuates (no doubt)...I just wanted to know roughly what it is going to cost me anyway.... He was punctual and courteous, just think I paid $99 for $100 worth of work, not $200.... I have no experience with any other electrical company to compare Allgood to so all in all, I guess they are okay.

I've used Allgood Electric before and was very satisfied with the service, so when I needed a couple of small jobs done, I called Allgood. They scheduled very quickly on a day that was convenient for me, showed up promptly and returned with a new security light to replace the broken model. The technician determined there was not a short in the indoor flood light and showed me how to adjust the connections. When I asked, he also showed me how to check the whole-house surge protector (again) that Allgood installed last year. The technician was courteous, helpful and I got to use my Angies List coupon!

Arrived on time, worked quickly and efficiently; answered all questions satisfactorily; installed ceiling fan without any problem; this is a 37 year old house with old electrical wiring and fixtures and switches. Was able to problem solve some switch problems that no other electrician could solve that saved us a lot of time. We have a pool light that was not working due to switch and wiring issues and we thought it was the bulb, he got it to work and showed us how to work it. Therefore we will not have to drain the pool to remove and change it, like we thought we would. He installed outside light and told us what was wrong with the older fixture which was fairly new and suppose to be working. He checked our dusk to dawn lights to make sure electrical current to the lights were working. He checked several light bulbs for us. Mr. Allgood is extremely proficient; we plan on hiring him to do some more outside lighting.

I used an Angie's List Big Deal and they were excellent. They came on time and took less than an hour to do the job. The guy was very nice, polite and did everything he was supposed to do. I recommend them and will use them again in the future.

Very well and always ask for Dane to be your provider. I've used them a couple of times now and Dane's work is ALWAYS perfect and I'm pretty hard to please. He is polite, punctual and pays attention to detail. If there is a question about something, he always asks for my input about something, making sure he's doing what the customer wants. One one occasion he added some electrical outlets and moved around a data and phone cable location. On another occasion, he hung a ceiling fan, installed 3 vanity lights that needed electrical boxes installed for support, and replaced about 16 light switches. Do you know how hard it is to get those rectangular Decora light switches to line up and be flush with the cover plate? Not for Dane - and the screws on the cover plates are all lined up in the same direction!! I must be a little OCD to have noticed. Great experience.

Technicians were just a few minutes late but called beforehand to say they were running a little late (this rates a gold star from me). They came fully prepared and started the job quickly and effeciently. They were courteous and showed respect for me and my home. I really appreciate dealing with a company like this. These men had a job to do and they came in and did it. They didn't bang their ladders on my walls and they didn't leave a mess for me to clean up. I will happily recommend Allgood Electric to my friends. Two thumbs up!!!

I spent about $1200 worth of electrical, re-wiring, some outlets and realigning some circuits and stuff. I would recommend them to a family member or a friend. They were very good and they did a real good job. I looked them up on the list and they had good reviews and they definitely came out and did a good job. I thought that the price was reasonable for the amount of work they did and I know I had checked into having the entire house rewired, but because of the aluminum wiring that was going to be about $6500. For the amount of work I had them do; the price was significant because they located my mains, threw new lines for some new circuits, and moved a bunch of stuff around. To me it seemed that for the amount of work was reasonable for the price they were offering. The quality of the work was excellent. The individual that came out and did the work checked in with me again afterwards. He was one of their key guys and he actually had an apprentice with him and he was actually showing the ropes to. He also asked if it was okay if he was there and things like that. He was licensed, but he wasn’t licensed to do the work on his own.

Based on this company's non response, do not think I will keep them on my contact list for the future. I had another company do the work that was very responsive!

The person that provided the service for the company was professional, punctual, gave us an estimate, and performed the work in a timely manner as discussed, I definitely would use their services again! Dana right exactly when he said he was going to arrive and proceeded to do the work very quickly. he was very clean, efficient, and easy to work with. I have work for the lot of contractors in my career and this is 1 of the best experiences I've ever had.

We had Allgood redid a utility room, so we need them to move and rewire the wiring to the washer and dryer. Their prices were okay, but as far as work quality, and professionalism, they were great. I will definitely use them in the future.
