Allgood Electric

I was initially interested in having my interior electrical panel replaced and relocated. I did not understand that the Deal was for the outside panel replacement. However the installer took the old one apart it was 40 years old and it was entirely rusted out & full of insects and trash & grass. He also evaluated my interior panel & found it to be in acceptable condition but said the work could be done for approximately the same price. I took some time to think about it, then the project fell through the cracks. My panel is physically attached to the wall of my next door neighbors condo & the fence gate was locked for months. Finally a year later Allgood called me to schedule the work for the same deal price. The work was completed in one day and has been an absolute success. No power outages since.

It was good. The guy gave me a list of things that he recommended and some helpful hints. I will use them again in the future. It was a good deal for them to come out and check everything and give me ideas of what needs to be done.

The man came and he looked through the house and he said he was going to make up an estimate on how much it would cost to fix what he found defective in the house and then I never heard from him again. I couldn't say I had any issues with them.

Ronnie Hall with Allgood Electric came out twice. 1st time on 8/22/2014 to replace two ceiling fans. 2nd time was 8/26/2014 to change the wall switch. Forgot the cost for the fans. Ronnie Hall and his partner were on time both days. They were very neat. We did not have to do any cleanup after the ceiling fans were replaced. They took one of the fans away?the one that broke. The other was still working and Ronnie suggested Habitat for Humanity store. The charge may have been a little higher than someone else, but we have used Allgood Electic several times in the past. Their electricians have always been very professional, always explained what they would be doing, neat, did great workmanship, and came on time. We do not mind paying a little more for this type of service.

Inspection was thorough and professional. Price for inspection was excellent (Angie's List special $49). Price for switch replacement ($154) seemed high. Price estimate for inspection findings also seemed high: Install 4 additional smoke detectors ($1420) Install 2 additional GFCI plugs ($344) Gas/Cold Water/ Low Voltage bonding ($640) Did not choose to have any of the inspection findings work accomplished at this time.

It went very well. The price included everything. The price was good.

The company had a truck in the area and was available earlier than our scheduled window, so they called to see if I'd like them to come earlier - which was great for me. We had two technicians giving us an estimate on installing a whole house surge protector - we had lost several appliances after a power surge in May. Both technicians were friendly, they inspected our electrical system and gave me several options as far as surge protection. They installed it that day - they were conscientious and friendly. We'll use them again for any electrical work we need.

The technicians were prompt, efficient, and very informative. They did not do the work as it was better suited to a distributor and not electrical in nature. I appreciated the information and they did not charge me a dime. This is the 3rd time I have used this company, and I will continue to call on them for all my electrical needs.

Went very well. Very satisfied with both the service and the price. Ray was great. I have used this company before for a larger job and the service has always been great.

I am about to take delivery of an electric vehicle and needed a 220V outlet installed in my garage for the EVSE (charging cable). I contacted Allgood first to get an estimate. Kevin came out and looked over what was needed, which was to put in an approximate 35' run, drill through my brick siding and flush-mount the outlet on the inside of my garage. When I finally wanted to have the work done, Kevin showed up again, on-time, and completed the work in about 2.5 hours. The work quality was very good and Kevin was very professional. A week after the install, I received the actual EVSE unit and soon discovered that the outlet needed to be mounted upside down, so that the EVSE plug, which hung from the bottom, could be plugged in. I called Allgood this morning and Kevin came back out this afternoon. He and co-worker corrected the outlet in about 5 minutes and even mounted the EVSE for me, which I definitely did not expect! Plus, I wasn't charged for the return visit, nor was I charged to mount the EVSE. Overall, I'm very happy I went with Allgood. The work was top-notch and I would highly recommend them!

Allgood did an excellent job. When I called, they alerted me to a deal for Angie's List customers that would make the system evaluation much more affordable. They arrived on time, were pleasant and professional to work with, and explained things to me in a way that made sense (and didn't make me feel "dumb"). After completing the evaluation, options were presented to me for what needed to be addressed and how it should be done. The costs were clearly explained for each option. The work was completed quickly and neatly.

Myles and Ray were extremely professional. When we came home from a short vacation our overhead kitchen lights did not work. We knew the San Antonio had a bad electrical storm while we were gone but it wasn't a tripped fuse. We called Allgood out after finding them on Angie's List. They too were confused as to why only the three kitchen switches were effected but soon got them working. They also had to replace a ballast in an overhead light and they suggested going with a more energy saving one. I won't hesitate to call them again. I was surprised when the total bill came in at the lower end of the estimate given me.

The technician arrived promptly, was friendly and professional, and did a thorough job of examining electrical sources.

Quick response when I first contacted them, and quickly scheduled time to come do the work. On time. The work was done quickly and to to my satisfaction. So great to have my outlets working properly again. Thanks

Requested house rewire, was told 29 dollar service fee, on a potential 15,000 to 20,000 dollar job???Even though I said electrical installation was holding up remodeling project, no one was available to come out until the next week. I had to go with someone else more responsive.

It wasn't clear from the beginning what services were included. I needed a repair and it was done--took five minutes and was quoted a $350 BILL--not ducted was the $50 Angie's price. Eventually settled for $172 for replacement of a GCFI plug. They were here less than 30 minutes.

Awesome job, perfect placement of lights, expertly moved light switch with no visible damage. Definitely recommend.

Job required additional days due to heat conditions and reduced hours for workers. An unexpected problem arose with a wiring event which was quickly resolved by the owner and lead electricians working 4th of July holiday and weekends. City inspector indicated the materials and units used were of high quality and the job was well done.

We were in the process of selling home and needed quote on electrical repairs required based on inspection. We decided to purchase the $49 Angie's List special and had the whole home inspected. Jacob Ortiz was the representative from All Good and was fantastic. Very knowledgeable, helpful and took time to explain all his findings. He also took extra time to write up a quote we could use to give to the new buyers. Great experience. Will absolutely use this company and recommend to all our friends and family

Needed inspection for pre home purchase for electrical concerns. After showing the seller the cost of electrical issues, seller agreed to have them fixed before the sale. Saved about $2,000

These guys are awesome! Our electrician was named Jacob and he was prompt, professional, friendly and he explained everything every step of the way. He cleaned up after himself and even fixed some of our wiring that was out of code! My wife and I are extremely happy with these guys. Jacob was awesome!

I had to get a refund on this because I was outside their service area. There were no issues in processing it and they were very professional.

Waste of my time to have them come to house to give me such a ridiculous price. Very annoying.

They were wonderful! They sent out one technician who was just great!
