Jacob & Ray Antoine were prompt, courteous & professional. They provided BEFORE pictures of areas of concern, explained,the concerns/possible repercussions & what they would do to address them. They provided a proposal with individual breakdowns of materials & services as well as options. They showed me the parts they would be installing & explained where they would be installing them. They were prepared with materials & tools & efficiently addressed the issues. When they finished, they showed me AFTER pictures of what they'd done, so I didn't have to crawl around in the attic or go out in the cold. Fixtures were matched to existing fixtures & work areas were left neat. They even took the extra step of making sure I knew where all my GFC master switches were. Having been responsible for hundreds of employees, I recognize these 2 as real assets that I' d hire in a New York minute if I weren't retired.

Over all, the were not able to give me all the options on installing a new outlet that I had expected. They only offered one option and I felt that wasn't the best customer service. Their inspection went well and they did provide an estimate on having smoke detectors installed.

I have used Allgood Electric in the past. They are always professional and courteous. I have been working on remodeling our master bathroom and was changing the light fixtures. The wiring had to be revised from the original so I turned to Allgood Electric. They came out quickly and did a great job.

The advertised offer was fine, but rates quoted for additional services were extremely overpriced.

I actually did not have the replacement fixture and he waited while I went to HD to get one. It was the wrong type but he made some changes and made it work. Really nice of him to do that. He also gave me suggestions on replacement of other dated fixtures. I will certainly use this company again.

They were excellent at explaining what needed to be done and gave recommendations for preventive measures. We were happy with their work and will definitely call on them in the future.

Jacob is superior. This a continuation of a project from June 2014. All the re-wiring was completed in June. I've worked with this wonderful and professional company since 2012. Troy and his technicians have re-wired our entire home, installed a circuit panel, lights, smoke alarms, ect. They are a total service package for all our electrical projects. Prices are extremely reasonable. I recommend Allgood to everyone. They are honest, helpful and super professional.

We had a plug outlet that had 'shorted' when a plug was accidentally pulled out sideways. Before calling an electrician, I removed the plate cover and was able to see the hot (black) and ground wire had come into contact. The wires had melted and black soot could be seen in and around the box. Since I was unsure if there was any damage outside of the visible range, and there was little wire available for working, I contacted an electrician to diagnose and repair the issue. The electrician (Ron) was punctual and professional. He diagnosed and repaired the problem within a few minutes. Most importantly, he assured me that it was not a safety / fire issue. While he was here, he answered all of my questions about possible 'upgrades' we may consider in the future.

I had a scheduled appointment for today and they have not shown up or contacted me to inform me they wouldn't be showing up. I will no longer be going forward with this company due to the lack of contact and missed appointment.

Told me what needed to be fixed, what he considered most important: grounding the house, then ungrading the electrical system since it has not been upgraded since being built, the outlets in the bathroom and kitchen need to be brought up to code, wiring on the outside needs to be replaced and some of the old wiring needs to be removed. I have NOT received an estimate. I was expecting a written estimate but as far as I know I have not received.

BUYER BEWARE. Regardless of their hundreds of great reviews, I couldn't even get past the receptionist to get a bid on work needing to be done. They said they needed to do their own inspection for $275 before even looking at the home inspection.

The electrician was professional, located and fixed the problem quickly, and did a good job of cleaning up after himself. The company responded quickly to our call as well.

Appointment was scheduled between 2 and 5. They called before lunch and asked if they could come at 1:30 which they did. The two men were very professional and personable. They hung my light and answered several questions I had. I was very pleased with their work and will definitely use them again when I need electrical work.

My house was struck by Lightning and power was not coming up in several rooms. It was determined that ARC fault breakers and a GFCI receptacle were to blame. They replaced the faulty components and check out the rest of my electrical system. Will use again.

Everything went well, there were no issues. I will use them for our electrician in the future.

Ray & Pete did a great job. They were punctual, fast, and competent.

The man who came was professional but didn't talk much. He did a thorough inspection and left. I believe he did say he would write up an estimate and send it to me. When the estimate came, it was way over my budget so I put it aside and have forgotten about it.

I talked to the office reception lady. Everything was timely. I told her I had remodel my 2bedroom completely. The problem was with two different electric company's. Which the last one was paid in full but never returned after walls was completed. I am almost finished with this project. I have electric to all fixtures and all switches and plugs. It's just some of the plugs and switches are in and working. They just need connected To finish up with the A/C heat pump part. Is only to connect the three wires together and attach the box to the wall. The electrician said he would call and see what extra charges would apply. When the office called me today a few hours before the tech. Would arive. I told her of the extra work I would gladly pay for just to connect the three wires and attach the box approx 5/10 mins. Work. I wanted to know if the tech would have time to do the repair while he was already here. She said yes no problem. So what I am up set about is that they must want to make up the special they ran $49.00 money because the special was a good offer. Hold your hat!!!! I almost fell out of my chair. $161.00 that's right. I truely understand they are professional and deserve the extra charges and fees. But don't take advantage of your customers. Personally I think this makes Angielist look like a special is not as good if you need any work down while they are there. I wonder if the other contractors that run specials is to just draw you in and then SLAP YOU IN THE FACE do you the same way???? I won't be taking Angielist specials anymore. Thanks,D

Darrell and Miles performed a full electrical evaluation on our 37 year old home on 8-28-14. They were prompt and courteous. They explained everything in detail and in language we could understand. We needed some work done on GFCIs and pool. I also wanted two new plugs installed; one in the bathroom and one in the kitchen. They scheduled the work for 9-4-14. We were the first job of the day and they were on time. They had to go into our attic to drop the lines for the two new plugs. It was brutally hot in our attic, but no complaints and never took a break. After work on the pool, everything was cleaned up. Darrell and Miles were friendly and professional. A good team. My cousin recommended this company and I'm glad she did. I would certainly hire them again and recommend them to friends and neighbors.
