Allgood Electric

They came out and did what they said they would do. We had an inspection done because we were selling the house. The realtor who represented the buyer called him and he gave her all the information about the inspection, even though we were the ones who purchased it. It was privileged information that we paid for and he gave that information unbeknownst to us to this realtor that was representing the buyer. For that reason, we weren't happy at all with him. If he would have called first and asked us, we could have given her the information. But she went around us directly to him. He really needs to know that it's proprietary information since we hired him and paid him.

Pros: Jose was the electrician who responded. He was punctual and very professional. The requested work was accomplished and the repairs are working well. Cons: Price. Allgood charges a book rate, not by the hour. So, for about 3 hours work I was charged about $120 per recepticle to diagnose one ground-fault outlet, $269 to diagnose and replace one recessed can light, and $153 to diagnose one faulty flood light. I did buy an Angie's list deal that reduced my bill by $160, but I contend that charging over $333 per hour is excessive. Jose said that all major electrical companies charge roughly the same based on the book rates, similar to auto mechanics. Don't know. Felt used by this price. Overall: Jose was a very nice man who did a great job. I have no complaints about his work at all. I would recommend that if you use Allgood, you ask for Jose. He did make a full estimate before beginning work, but because I had purchased the coupon, I was not in a position to take more bids. If what Jose said was correct, it would not have mattered. I would use Allgood again, but I would be prepared to pay dearly for the service.

It was average. I thought that the price was a good deal. I may or may not use them in the future.

They came when they said they would, explained everything thoroughly, very pleasant demeanor, and everything is now working well. If I continue with them, they offered to give me the same electrician every time, which I really like.

.I purchased The Big Deal for $500.00 of electrical services for $249.00. Jacob Ortiz was very friendly and professional. He gave me the prices for each project and gave me helpful information about some issues I had. He fixed a broken ceiling fan, provided and installed a remote controlled wall unit for that fan and installed a dimmer light switch for my dining room. I have used Allgood in the past and will continue to use them for my electrical needs.

They showed up right on time, and the two service providers were very thorough in explaining what they would do. I was emailed the box label within 24 hours. They also made recommendations for electrical work my home needs. I have not scheduled that work yet.

Very professional but he took 45 minutes just to come up with the price. Not even joking!

They were outstanding! They were punctual and exceeded my expectations for the work they performed. We asked them to fix more than they came to do initially, but they did it with no hesitation. They updated my price and I didn't feel like I was taken advantage of. I will definitely use them again.

The fellow was really nice. He left after changing a couple of outlets. He didn't explain a whole lot. I feel it's like a little flagrant there. I haven't plugged anything in and I finally managed to force something in. We were having some issues with our the guy who takes care of our pool and the pool falls. He said he's done it correctly and the pool guy comes and said he didn't. I'm in the middle. I called and asked if he would call back and they could speak directly to our pool guy and they could talk to each other. No one called back. I don't really feel like pursuing that. They acted professional. The guy was nice.

Although the electrician showed up on time and was very professional, the cost was much more than I had anticipated and thus I did not use the service.

Well, and I'll have no worries as professionals installed them. Jacob and Jason were very courteous, wore shoe covers, etc. Gave good estimate prior to work and assured me there was a 1 year guarantee that if the fans wobble - they'll come back.. They cleaned up after they were done, put things back in place as if they were never there, even hauled away the boxes, packaging material, and old fixtures. Good job guys!

This special offer was a good way to meet a new vendor. They were prompt, courteous, and provided good information. Will use them in the future.

I made a list of what I wanted done, and they mailed me a list of what it would cost, so I could call when I was ready to schedule and knew what it would cost. He wasn't above doing a small task for me when he was here. They're excellent.

Excellent. I asked the technician to tell me what was "must have" and what was "nice-to-have" and that saved me about $500! Work was done quickly.

The electrician did a sales pitch to the replace 4 smoke detectors. The total charge for all work was $928.80. I was told that I had received the Senior discount.

Two of my outlets stopped working after a bad thunder and light night storm so I called Allgood electric because they were reviewed very high on angies list and I'm glad I did! Over the phone he asked me to go into my garage and find an electrical outlet with a GFI that may be tripped and sure enough he was right! I'm definitely using this company in the future and recommending to friends as they saved me a LOT of time/frustration/money today at no reward to them. Amazing company!

We are selling our home and on the inspection report the above deficiencies were noted. I call Allgood Electric this morning and they came out the same day around 2:30 pm. Ronnie Hall was the technician and called to let us know what time he would arrive. He was very polite and professional and did a great job in a minimal amount of time. We really appreciate the timely response from Allgood and could not have been more pleased with Ronnie's work. He made sure that he identified all of the inspection items on the bill.

Myles and Josh from Allgood Electric showed up on time and did an excellent job! They checked my main and secondary electrical panels and mapped all the power outlets and lights to specific circuit breakers. Myles and Josh were very professional and worked well together to provide me with a written list of the circuits associated with each breaker (including stray plugs that did not correspond to a room location). I was very impressed with their demeanor and attention to detail. I will use Allgood Electric in the future and give them my highest recommendation.

Jacob O. from Allgood Electric did a great job. He was very thorough as he inspected the entire house, including the outside and inside electrical panels, as well as checking on a couple of my specific concerns. He was very meticulous as he went about his work and explained what he was inspecting as he went. I am very, very pleased the work he did. This is the second time in two years that Allgood Electric was at my home. Both times I was very pleased. The electricians always pickup after themselves and are very courteous. I will definitely use Allgood Electric the next time I need electrical work at my home.

Allgood was prompt to perform the work (a few minutes early, actually). Everything went smoothly. Ray and his co-worker fixed several incorrectly connected wires under our house and put them in junction boxes. They also replaced an old breaker in our exterior panel and grounded the panel to our gas line, as well as two large poles driven deep into the soil. Lastly, they installed a lightning strike surge protector. They also gave estimates for other projects which were not deemed necessary at the time but had been noted by the house inspector. Ray gave me a lot of really useful, honest advice. We are selling our old house and, thanks to Allgood Electric, I feel confident our electrical system is in great shape.

Their prices were sky high. I'll never use them again. I was not happy.

It worked out really good. They were very professional. I just liked the way they handled themselves. They came in and gave us some advice and some recommendations on some things. They were very thorough and I like that about them.
