I enjoy working I started painting with my family at 5 years old stuck with that for a while. Then went to another company and got more experience in a different trade. I am willing to travel my goal next year is to be near Dallas but will travel back and fourth still. If you need anything done don’t hesitate to reach out and we can meet, make a plan, agree on a price, and get it taken care of for you:) thank you for looking have a great day.

Bill Roberts did the job, he and his brother Kevin had to come out twice just to do the estimate correctly and naturally it was higher than the original. Bill did the job and as I have heart problems and was not able to go out into the heat I paid him in full. When I realized that the work was not completed I began calling Bill on a fairly regular basis to come out and finish what he had bee

n paid for Bill has made several appointments and showed up once to finish, did not let me know he was leaving and when I went outside the work left was not completed. I called and called him, he apologized and kept giving me more dates that he never showed up for or called to reschedule.. I also had him take measurements to install a new countertop in my kitchen when I couldn't get an estimate he said he had given it to his brother and had not received an estimate as yet that was on 5/7/2015.

My husband and I are senior citizens and I have a heart problem and my husband has Parkinson's disease Bill took advantage of us

by not completing his work or having the courtesy to return a call and cancel after he made an appointment. Very disappointing and I realize I have no recourse with the money we paid the company but I hope this review helps someone else looking for a contractor. By the way the spa gate is hanging up again Bill didn't even fix that properly now I have no idea about the rest of the work performed.

"Apex did a fabulous job on my driveway and sidewalks! And my roof! Iâ ve lived in my home for 12 years now and have never had it cleaned like this. We have a ton of trees in our yard and some that hang over the garage. You can imagine the build up and gunk that comes with them. Apex showed up when they were scheduled to and got straight to work. I have to say that I have never seen the actually color of my concrete before. When I walked outside it looked white like it was brand new. I would definitely hire them again and would recommend them to anyone that asks!"

"Hunter Potts is an exceptional worker with obvious power washing experience. He made sure that he got the job done exactly like I wanted. He followed up with us after he finished his work, as we were not home when he completed the job. He is a very nice guy, and has completed multiple jobs on our home, driveways, and garages. We will always call Potts Pressurewashing for our power washing needs."

Deck Cleaning questions, answered by experts

You can build an outdoor kitchen on a deck, but you should choose composite decking since it's more heat-resistant. Metal deck materials like steel and aluminum are also good choices because they're less flammable than wood. You should also consider the weight of the kitchen—make sure your deck can support it and any appliances you plan to use. You should consult a structural engineer to confirm exactly how much weight your deck can safely support when building an outdoor kitchen.

Choosing whether your deck should be lighter or darker than your house is a matter of personal preference, as there is no right or wrong answer. However, considering the pros and cons of each can help guide your decision. Darker colors are often chosen because they show less dirt, footprints, and marks from daily wear, making them easier to keep clean. On the other hand, lighter deck colors tend to stay cooler in the summer. From a design perspective, using a deck color that contrasts with your home's exterior can help make the deck a more defined and distinct feature. Consulting color theory can also make the process of choosing a complementary house and deck color combination easier.

Both aluminum and composite decking materials are environmentally friendly, with aluminum decking coming in as the most eco-friendly option.

Though composite decking helps remove plastics from landfills, recycles wood, and lasts longer than traditional wood decks, it’s not recyclable and only lasts for 25 to 30 years on average. Aluminum can last well over 30 years and is almost always recyclable.

Most building codes require that spindles or balusters on deck and stair railings be spaced no more than four inches apart. This safety standard, often called the '4-inch sphere rule,' is designed to prevent small children or pets from slipping through the railing. A good way to visualize this is that a 4-inch sphere should not be able to pass between two spindles. For the same safety reason, the space between the bottom rail and the deck floor should also be no more than four inches. As a general guideline, professionals often install three balusters per foot of railing. However, since specific requirements can vary by location, it is crucial to check your local building codes to ensure compliance before starting your project.

You typically don’t need a railing and handrails on a deck that’s less than 30 inches from the ground. However, consider adding them regardless. Railings provide additional safety for you and your guests who use your deck—plus, railings give the deck a more finished look than it would have without them.
