They said we received your check but someone cancelled it. I knew no one had cancelled the check. I don’t know what happened, but they got me mixed up with someone else. They apologized, but the damage was done. We were very good customers up to that point.
Description of Work: They called me when I was on vacation. They told me my payment was not received. It was a total mix up on their end. It was really embarrassing for me.

Bought a recliner at Quality furniture approx two years ago. Spring popped out on the floor after two years. Went to the store and they said they would order a new spring. Got tired of waiting after three weeks and called a repairman who said he was their handyman and he replaced the spring. Even though the Manufacyurer warranty on the mechanism is five years, the store disavowed any knowledge of the repairman and said the warranty was void. The chair gas never worked right and has now become inoperative. Manufacturer was no help

We sincerely apologize for any unpleasant experience you have dealt with in the process of getting your recliner repaired! As a small family business operating in Mesquite for over 34 years we work diligently with manufacturers to get their products repaired in the event of a service issue. The recliner we came to understand was absolutely in need of repairs but the manufacturer would not support it. We have since personally ensured one of the repair men we use came and fully restored the recliner to working order. While the manufacturer would not stand behind this issue we spent many hours trying to right the situation for you. While it is most certainly not your fault the manufacturer would not cover their product, we do desire to ensure that we take care of our Quality Customers no matter what the situation. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to further assist you in your recliner repair. We apologize that it took as long as it did to remedy the situation but from the very beginning we tried to explain that your interests were the most important factor in this situation even if it would take some time to fix. Oftentimes with large companies we have to petition again and again for any kind of service for our customers especially with the fact that we are a small fish in the midst of the other large companies buying from them. However, we did offer to come and pick up your recliner and repair it at no charge. I have personally spoken with you and was assured that we took care of your situation and the recliner was restored to working order on 2.1.13.
