Description of Work: Never had a pool before, so not sure whether it is expensive or not, but my wife and I were both impressed with Bryan's professionalism, patience and communication skills. After initially contact him for "pool school", we decide to use him for our monthly pool service. You won't be disappointed if you use Handcrafted Pool Care.

Description of Work: We have had the same technician for the past year and a half, and he's extremely professional, kind and good at what he does. We would not consider services from any other provider. We are certainly pleased with Hand Crafted.

Description of Work: We hired this company to take care of my pool. in the beginning they were great. It was going to freeze over the weekend and Josh was to clean on Fridays. I called the office and talked to Martha before Josh was there and asked her to have him check the freeze guard. She said she would tell him. I called Martha on my way home from work and she said he forgot and would go back. The problem was that he did not go back until the following week and my equipment froze. They gave me a very high price so I took my pumps to Leslie's Pools and they replaced the seals. I asked several times for Josh to replace the little scrubber on the tail of the pool cleaner and I even bought the part. It took three times and after calling the owner Bryan, it was replaced. Bryan also told me that he did not believe they we functional so they never replaced them. My wife asked Josh not to step on the water fall stones and she caught him doing it several times. I called Bryan again. The next service Josh loosened one of the stones. Josh did not come one weekend and someone else came and broke the connection at the pool wall where the Polaris plugged into. I waited to see if they would fix it without me calling. Two weeks went by and they did not. I called Bryan again and it was fixed. A few days ago I got a call that the DE filter grid was torn. I did see DE in the pool so I told them to fix it. They scheduled the cleaning but changed the date due to scheduling problems. They came today to change the grid. Martha called and told me it was $323 and I was billed on my credit card over $464. Bryan send me a email picture showing my plumbing fittings leaking very badly. I told Bryan it was not leaking before he started and he said it needs to be fixed and he will get an estimate. I asked him if he expected me to pay and he started to laugh and said yes. This company sends you an email after every service and they write up if repairs are needed and it was not written up. I told Bryan this and suggested he talk to Josh which he had not done prior to telling me it was a problem. I asked my wire to send me a video of the leak and she did. Not only was it leaking severely, but it was leaking at both fittings from the filter to the valve.. the nut was damaged and looked like someone put a pipe wrench on it and stripped it. Bryan said that he talked to Josh and he saw the leak last Friday. I said why didn't he write it up? Bryan had schedule a meeting with him, Josh, my wife and myself on Friday. I assumed that Josh was afraid of his job and said it was leaking. Bryan told me that he did tell us about the leak before and sent me an email. I forwarded the email he was referencing and it showed the pump seals leaking and not the filter. I told him of the freeze guard not being tested and caused my pumps to freeze and ruin the seals. He said that freezing would not cause the seals to go out it was from running the pump dry. It did run dry due to water being frozen. At that point I was done with this company. I have had several in ground pools for over 25 years and I have never seen a more inept company. Do Not Use This Company!

Description of Work: They perform weekly pool cleaning and maintenance on our SALTWATER pool for us, and they also come to clean the pool filters quarterly. We pay about $882 for six months' service and supplies and about $85 for each filter cleaning.

Description of Work: Great service, nice people. Fixed our leak by the pool pump quickly at a fair price. I will definitely call these guys again.

Description of Work: Pool pump was not working. He diagnosed that a supply wire was ripped in a junction box outside the house. The wire work had to be done by a certified electrician (pool people are not supposed to be doing any wiring away from the pool).. I fixed the torn wire and everything worked.

Description of Work: I use Hand Crafted Pool Care for my pool services. They do weekly routine cleaning and maintenance of my pool.

Description of Work: Due to loss of electricity pool pump and lines froze up and bursted some lines and the pool heater. Bryan replaced the lines, put in a new backflow valve and bypassed the pool heater.

Description of Work: They have taken care of my pool for the last year and a half. They clean, monitor the chemicals and notify me of anything they see that I should be aware of.
