I grew up in a tiny "hole in the road" Deep East Texas town where everyone knew everyone. In this small community of mostly farmers and ranchers, a handshake meant everything and pulling your own weight was expected. Many of the small-town values that I grew up with are still ingrained in me today. Honesty and integrity are important to me and I am not afraid of putting in hard work. These are the things make me a great choice to use as your REALTOR. My Real Estate experience started 13 years ago with a job as Office Manager at a Coldwell Banker office of about 30 agents in Lufkin, TX. It was there that I learned a great deal about the business under an amazing Broker and my passion grew. Changes in life relocated me to Galveston Island. I continued working in the industry as Office Coordinator at two well-known island real estate offices. Real Estate business on the coast is very different than in the country, I realized. Then I took the job as the Director of Hospitality and Agent Solutions at RE/MAX Crossroads Realty in Dickinson, TX. These jobs allowed me to gain perspective into what the agents, clients and customers deal with daily and gave me experience in a broad range of physical and economic areas. So, with the encouragement of my family and my many REALTOR friends, I took the plunge and studied for my Real Estate License. Currently, I work under Robbie Nelson of RE/MAX Crossroads Realty in Dickinson, TX serving Galveston County and the surrounding areas. As a smaller, independently-owned brokerage, we can offer you professional services and personal touches that you would be hard-pressed to find at larger, corporate brokerages. Our can-do, winning attitude shines through in everything we do.
