They were very prompt in coming out to give me the estimate. The estimate was in sufficient detail that I could easily recognize the cost per task. I was provided mutilple options. They were very accommodating when I had to put off accepting the quote due to my need to provide hospice care for my father; there was no pressure. Once I was ready to start the work, it didn't take too long to get me on their schedule. They arrived when they said they would, they cleaned up at the end of the day and the pool and spa are beautiful. My only critcisms are, the day I was suppose to pick out my tile; I had a scheduled apointment and the guy didn't show. I had to call him and he quickly met me at the shop. My other comment would be that I wanted more information from them with regards to when they would be doing what and what was next and I had to ask. They always fully answered my questions, I just was kind of disappointed I had to ask.

Start to finish was performed as promised.

They were fine. They came out when they said they were going to come out, and called ahead of time. They provided a quote a few days later. We're still deciding wether we would use them or not.

We asked Express Re-plastering to give us an estimate after finding them on Angie's list with multiple excellent reviews. They came out the same day that I called and gave me a verbal estimate on the spot. They followed up with a written estimate. I noticed that one of the items that they had agreed to in the verbal estimate was missing from the written estimate (liability in case pool popped out of ground due to hydrostatic pressure when empty). They apologized and sent another estimate with the expected wording. They were due to start the re-plastering the next Tuesday. It started raining on Sunday and the forecast was for rain all the next week. They called and e-mailed me to let me know that they couldn't perform the work while the ground was satuated (danger of pool popping out of ground while empty) and they would let me know as soon as they could start. The next Monday (sunny and clear) they arrived and had the pool emptied, acid washed, prepped and primered. On Tuesday they arrived at 8am to plaster. By noon they were finished and filling the pool. The plaster was perfect. It looked better than the original plastering did when it was new. We are now going through the startup phase. They contract with another company to do the startup and the startup company arrived when they promised and have been doing a great job of getting the pool water chemicals right and brushing the pool. I deal with a lot of contractors on my home and vacation home and have never had a more pleasant experience with a contractor as I did with Express Replastering. Everyone I dealt with was professional and customer oriented. I had called several other pool restoration companies and none of them appeared as knowledgable and professional as this company did. Oh and they honored the 5% off Angies List coupon.

always on time, pleasant to deal with, met the price they quoted, and were willing to deal with us via email. No hassle - we left the pool area unlocked and they just basically did the work and we'd come home to the finished job. We were happy enough that we recommended them to a friend, who had their pool redone also. They were also satisfied. Only (small) hassle is that they're on the north side of town for the "select a finish" visit, but well worth it.

Express pool and Plastering did a terrific job! There staff was professional and very self reliant. The completed the job on time and did an excellent job. We are very pleased with the results.

They were great. Julio met me at my house after work one day to inspect the pool and give us a bid. Although he brought his tape measure he didn't need it,instead he said that they have a minimum job size of 450 square feet and our pool was smaller than that. I appreciated his honesty and told him that we would consider the options and get back to him. Hurricane Ike interrupted the contracting process, but as soon as the storm was over we went to visit their store to inspect the various finishes and colors in person. Marisol (the office manager) was very helpful and since Julio only lives a few minutes from the office, he made a special trip back (he had already left for the day) to visit with us and help us make our selections. We selected the Sunstone Pearl product, but were unsure about the color. Julio said that he just installed it on his own pool and invited us to come over and take a look. So we followed him for the 5 minute drive to his house and got to spend as much time around and in his pool as we needed to make up our minds. We were really impressed that Julio would go to such lengths to ensure that we were happy with our selection. We immediately signed the contract and he said that his guys would be out in one week to start the job. Unfortunately it was raining on the day they were to start, but Marisol called very early to say that they were not going to be there due to the rain and that the guys would come the next morning. Sure enough, the next morning the crew was at our house at 8am to start removing the old plaster. The crew of two guys spent about 4 hours removing the old plaster and fittings and getting everything ready for the plastering crew to apply the new plaster. The next morning the plastering crew arrived at 7am and immediately got to work. Unbelievably, they had the first coat of plaster on the pool before I got out of the shower around 9am! They were done installing the new plaster by 1pm and left. The crew of five guys left our backyard as clean as they found it, so putting everything back in place was a simple task for us. They also left a packet of start-up info along with a final invoice. If I had anything to complain about, it is that the materials they left are pretty confusing and I'm going to end up having to call them to ask which set of directions I'm supposed to follow. Something as simple as them putting a "star" or something next to the set of instructions we are to follow would be very helpful. Overall, however, Julio and his team made replastering our pool an amazingly easy process. And they really live up to their name because we had a newly plastered pool less than 24 hours after the first workers showed up at our house! We've dealt with lots of contractors but have never met one who is as punctual and quick as Julio and his crew. In fact, we liked them so much that we referred them to our neighbor and Julio is working on their pool right now!

Overall things went very well with a couple very small exceptions. This is a family business and the care/attention to the job shows! The crews arrived on time and left the work area clean when complete. All work was performed with care and not rushed through. They also left detailed start-up instructions that helped me bring up the pool quickly. On the downside, I can think of only two very minor issues: first there was only one person on site to replacing the plumbing (were to have three), which caused the need for them to finish work on a Sunday prior to the rain moving in. Second, I assumed the plumbing would be connected to the filter. However, Julio and Veronica worked hard to get someone to my home to finish the connection in very short notice, and just before the pool was completely filled so I was able to start the filter immediately. In short, they did an excellent job, and I would hire them again in a second!

Family owned and operated. Overall very positive experience. Julio arrived on-time to give estimate and went out of his way to answer questions. He provided samples of different products and was very well organized. Work was completed in a timely manner. Very courteous and professional. Honored warranty without hesitation. Very satisfied.
