CONN'S APPLIANCES

I reviewed the Conn's website several times. By the time I went to the store, I knew exactly what I wanted. Dexter, a salesman who has waited on me before, showed me the model I named. I requested a discount of 15%. I had purchased several large items from Conn's this year and thought a discount was reasonable. Dexter's sales manager said a 10% discount was as low as they could go. I accepted it, but I think he should have offered 11%, in acknowledgment of my earlier purchases. He wouldn't go for it, providing the only slightly negative aspect of my experience. A crew delivered the refrigerator on the day promised and took the old one away. They were professional, fact and friendly. In hooking up the water for the ice-maker, they installed an additional turn-off value in the line.

Conn's was the fourth time I'd gone shopping for new appliances. At another company, I couldn't find anyone to answer my questions. At yet another company, a young salesperson was very helpful with information about one product. However, due to a bad experience with a door installation, I didn't buy there. I also went to 3rd company, twice, and probably would have purchased there due to past good experiences, but both times I encountered salesmen who weren't too good at their jobs. At Conn's, a salesman greeted me at the door. I told him I wanted to buy more than one appliance. And that I wasn't an extravagant person. In fact, I think I said I was "cheap." The salesman, Dexter Hodge, asked relevant questions about my existing wall oven. And even though there was a mix-up, and both products were not delivered on the same day, both delivery teams were efficient and polite, and did their jobs well.

THE SALESPEOPLE WERE KNOWLEDGEABLE. THEY WERE ALSO PROMPT AND EASILY ACCESSIBLE.
