Description of Work: Pool Concepts completed a beautiful pool in our back yard in an established subdivision. We had "the other guy" come out and we even signed a contract with the big name in San Antonio, however after they signed the contract they had their engineer come out and say it would cost anywhere from $10,000-$15,000 more to add pool reinforcements. Highly unprofessional that they would do all of this after several visits with them AND a signed contract. So... we reached out to our close second, Pool Concepts. George was great. He was the only designer that integrated the slope of our yard into the plans, such that we now have beautiful steps, and tiers to our decking. | |Once we were in the construction phase, all of the workers were 100% meticulous. About mid-way through construction, we had a tragedy strike and I had to be gone for 2 weeks. Pool Concepts assured us that everything would be taken care of at home, and I could concentrate on taking care of my family. They even worked with a friend I had appointed as my proxy. Once I returned home, they were with me every step of the way, even doing things "above and beyond" just to help me out. | |The only complaint I have is that once the project is complete, it's very hard to get the superintendent (I think that's his title) to show a sense of urgency. Dre responds to texts and messages at his leisure. We had a leak in our pool (not totally uncommon and it was just a fixture), and he dismissed this concern and only reluctantly agreed to have it tested. It turned out to be a fixture, and we have had no problems since. I still have an outstanding request and he's moved on to other projects. I think as long as you ask for what you need before you pay the final bill, you are in great shape with Pool Concepts. I would highly recommend them, with the exception of Dre's lack of urgency at the very end.
