"Iâ ve hired AGI for several projects, including installing granite countertops in my backyard gazebo and various Airbnb properties. Each time, theyâ ve delivered exceptional quality and craftsmanship. The team is professional, punctual, and their attention to detail is second to none. The durability and finish of the countertops have consistently impressed my guests and added a touch of elegance to each property. I highly recommend AGI for anyone looking to enhance their space with beautiful, high-quality granite installations."

Small jobs welcome

Im an IT manager and have been doing this for 20 years, I contracted with SpaceX and installed most of the security cameras, I also helped to construct most of the network while there. I have been repairing appliances for even longer, I can repair them all, but I don't want to waste your time or money so I will ask for the model number and what the machine is doing before heading out. If it's less expensive to buy a new one, I will let you know.

Countertops and Backsplashes questions, answered by experts

Choosing the right countertop material means balancing price, quality, and budget. However, there are a few popular high-end choices when it comes to countertops that many homeowners use to elevate their bathroom aesthetic:

Porcelain countertops have a fairly long life span, sometimes lasting for decades. Depending on how much wear and tear you put your countertops through, it could last 25 to 50 years. But be warned, porcelain is also prone to cracking, so as long as you take good care of it, you’ll have those countertops looking brand new for years to come.

The best type of wood for countertops is hardwood. Hardwood is much more durable and resilient than softwood, so it won’t scratch or dent as easily. Oak, cherry, maple, walnut, and teak are all popular options that are relatively common in North America. Some homeowners prefer to use pine or cedar, but make sure to seal your countertop to help prevent damage. Yellow pine fares better than white pine.

Yes, you can install a farmhouse sink on an existing countertop—but there are some caveats. You’ll need to precisely measure. It’s best to choose a sink that’s the same dimensions as your existing sink, since your contractor won’t have to cut the countertop. Otherwise, pay close attention to the depth of your counter (the front to back measurement). You don’t want to install something that’s so big it sticks out beyond your countertop and cabinetry.

Most homebuyers value standard counter height (34–36 inches) over bar height (40–42 inches).
