Want to know something surprising? Lock, Security, and Sound systems don't have to be quite as expensive as the Market would have you think. I’ve been in the industry now for over 3 years and from what I’ve seen, most of what you pay for is a company’s profit margin. .. You won’t get that with me! Hi, the Name is Clint the Locksmith/Security/Audio Video specialist and I run my own family business. And by family business, I mean I work to provide for my family. I have no employees, no expensive office space to pay for, it’s just me doing what I’m proficient at to take care of my loved ones at home. With that in mind, believe me when I say my prices are going to be WAY cheaper than a competitor, who likely has to price their systems in accordance with things I mentioned above. Not me! My number is 979-676-4187!! Call for a question or conversation, talk to you soon.

"They did a fantastic job! They were friendly, hard working, and very capable."

"Landmark Uses Disreputable Contractors ? AZA Repair & Brenovations HVAC Are the Worst Landmark sent AZA Repair for my refrigerator, and they left it worse than before?still not working, scorch marks from a blowtorch, copper lines sticking out, tools and oil left behind, and no receipt. Then Landmark sent Brenovations HVAC for an AC motor replacement, and that turned into exposed wires, bolts hitting fan blades, missing parts, and complete disregard for safety near my kids? play area. Both companies were unprofessional, negligent, and refused accountability. Landmark?s use of these contractors makes me seriously question the value of having a home warranty at all."

Locksmiths questions, answered by experts

Yes, keyless locks can be quite safe, but their security depends on the type and quality of the lock you choose. Many keyless locks offer added features like biometric access, PIN codes, and smartphone connectivity, making them potentially more secure than traditional locks. However, keyless locks can also be susceptible to hacking, battery failure, or technical malfunctions, so it's important to choose a reliable brand and stay on top of software updates and maintenance.

If you don’t have your original key, the easiest way to obtain a copy is to call a locksmith. For house keys, your locksmith has several options for configuring a new key:

  • They can input a lock’s identification code into a database to obtain key-cutting instructions.

  • They could analyze the lock cylinder to determine how to cut a new key.

  • They can create an impression of the lock cylinder from which to cut a new key.

Locksmiths offer keyless entry systems, high-security locks, panic bars, electronic access control, and biometric security solutions.

Find a vetted and trusted locksmith to work on your home so you can feel comfortable and safe. Hire a professional with these qualifications:

  • Search a verified directory of locksmiths near you, like those on Angi.

  • Check for an Associated Locksmiths of America (ALOA) logo on their website or company logo.

  • Read company reviews. You can also check their social media pages.

  • Ask for a pro’s credentials, insurance, licensure, and customer testimonials.

  • Check if the locksmith is knowledgeable about various topics, from decorative locks to the newest technologies on the market.

A deadbolt has a different design, construction, and security level than a regular lock. Regular locks are mostly used for interior doors around the home, like bedrooms and bathrooms, and they usually include a locking mechanism on the inside. While regular locks are easy to use and install, they provide little security.

A deadbolt adds a layer of security and is most commonly used on exterior doors. The installation is typically more complicated, but they hold up to wear and tear.
