I contracted with Tri-County pools for the build of my small pool in 2019. In general, they were behind schedule and had to be chased down for every update during the process. The partner that deal with the business side is generally a decent person but over commits. The construction partner talked down to me (a woman) throughout the whole process and made excuse after excuse for things going wrong. The pool was quoted to be complete in 4 months and actually kicked off in December 2019 and they were still working on various pool items until October of 2020. They committed to fixing a few final items on the punch list and then backed out of the completion. This company claims that I never paid their final payment (less than $2000 for a job that cost well over $85,000 which they were paid for on time at every invoice) and has held me hostage with warranty issues that have recently come up. I have stated to them that I would make the payment if they finish the job. I have now had to report them to the BBB and unfortunately have to have an attorney represent me so that I can in fact utilize my warranty on a job they never finished. Generally speaking, pool contractors are not great. I would not use this company unless you have no other choice. The construction quality was good but the business and management are terrible.

Came on scheduled day and began work.  Project stretched out for several weeks.  Workers were courteous and skilled.  Different workers came to do different specialty tasks, and sometimes there was an obvious lack of coordination.  In the end it was a great job done for the agreed price.  The only con was the mess made by cutting the coping stones on site.  Wish they would have done that at the shop.

Overall, they did a good job.  They were quick with coming out and giving a quote.  The pool resurfacing was done very well and looks great.  They did break a couple of the tiles around the top of the pool trying to get the old surface removed.  The tiles are very old, so they couldn't replace them.  They did the best they could assembling pieces back together so it isn't as noticeable, but still wish those hadn't been broken.  However, given how hard it is to remove the old surface, I can't expect that something like this wouldn't happen.  The pool surface didn't immediate set up correctly and when we started to fill the pool, it left marks on the bottom.  They came back out pretty quickly and repaired that and made sure that the pool set correctly.  It looks great!!!  The booster pump and new line they ran for our polaris works great and they did a good job.  We did have some minor issues with the breakers in our eletrical box and how it was run the first time.  Again, this isn't something they could have known.  We have a pretty old house.  The supervisor came out on the weekend and personally made sure that it was all fixed, which included having to go into our attic to run some new lines.  While some of this took longer to get done than I had wanted, because of some of the issues, I was happy with the resolution and they did a very nice job on the pool.

My pool survived the 2010 freeze but wasn't working at its best. Steve came out & repaired all the obvious damage like the Polaris hoses, the worn-out chlorinator & the multivalve plus he redid the pump connections. After he left I noticed we were still getting air in the system so Steve came back & found a tiny crack in the pump housing. Instead of selling me a new pump he located a new housing and changed the pipe fittings to work with it (which saved me $$)!

This company has been my pool-repair folks for 20 years and have gone far & above the 'call of duty'  for me on many occasions. They are my first call and I'll gladly recommend them to anyone needing their pool or spa repaired. If they have a downside it's that during the spring & summer months they get extremely busy and oftentimes it's difficult to get an appointment with them but somehow, Steve has always come through for me.

Overall, this project went horribly. Not only did we not get the services we paid for, but we were also treated very poorly by the staff and workers. After discussing a project plan with the company in advance, they started to begin the project by digging a space for a pool. They were supposed to take care of making sure that the space, the depth and width of the area, was acceptable according to the area's regulations. When we discovered that what they had dug so far was not up to code, we asked them to dig further, 3 extra feet, to meet regulation. They refused to do so without charging an additional fee, even though they were supposed to check the regulations before they began. While I was out one day, the workers came and removed all of their equipment from my home and disappeared, without completing the project. They left with my full payment and I was left with an unfinished project. They have yet to respond to any of my attempts to contact them about the matter.

They came to our house once, and they were on time. We went to their office once and were very impressed.

Tri County did a great job of doing the re-plastering. Our pool was not leaking, but it did have some cracks and the job was needed. It took them about a day to do the actual work, though they came out first to do some prep work.
