We had some wood rot on the outside of a bathroom window and the inside sill had some water damage. All the wood was replaced and repainted inside and out.. We also had roof rat holes on four soffets on our second story roof line. These were replaced, caulked and repainted. All the work was fast and efficient and looks amazing. I couldn't have asked for anything more. The estimator and all the work crew were neat, polite and very hard workers. The work was completed a day ahead of schedule. Thanks for a job well done

We had an estimate from another company, but they wanted to jack hammer through our floor. We had Ernie's come out and they resented another option that wouldn't cost as much and would save us from future issues. They were very professional throughout the experience and showed up when they said they would. Jason was the plumber that came in to fix our problem and was there all day to make sure everything was done right. Great company that helped us when we really needed it

We called 3 plumbing companies that were all highly rated on Angie's List and charged no fees for estimates. We had a small amount of flooding in our front yard due to a leaky/broken pipe near the water meter. Plumbing company #1: Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. They came out and took a look at the problem. We were told there was no way to know what the exact problem was and they were going to have to trouble shoot and possible do quite a bit of digging. Their estimate was $1509 with cautions that it could be higher if there were more problems than expected. Plumbing company #2: Mike Masters Service Company. They came out and began to use a ShopVac to clear the water from the water meter area to determine the problem. After about 10-15 minutes they decided the leak was under the sidewalk and therefore would not be able to help us until the next day. They quoted us $1000-$1400. Plumbing company #3: Ernie's Plumbing Service. Fred came out, turned on the water and within a few seconds put a stick in the grass and said "the leak is right there". I was surprised he seemed so sure since I had just heard two other companies tell me they either didn't know or that it was under the sidewalk. Fred said, "I have been doing this for 30 years, I guarantee you it is within a couple inches of that spot". Fred proceeded to write up an estimate of $545 (including our Angie's List discount) plus $30 materials. He told me it was a flat fee and would not cost us a dime more even if it took them 2 days to do the job. With that assurance, I signed the estimate. Fred found the leak (and it was right where he said it was and NOT under the sidewalk) and he fixed the leak within about 45 minutes including the time it took him to go to the store to get parts. He was careful to cut the grass where he dug and put the grass right back over the area after he filled the hole back in. I was highly impressed that Fred was able to quickly diagnose and fix our problem. I told Fred about the other company telling us the problem was under the sidewalk. He laughed and told us even if the problem had been under the sidewalk it wouldn't have cost us a dime more because he would have just 1) dug two holes on either side, 2) cut the pipe on both sides, 3) slid the pipe out, 4) put a new pipe through the hole, and 5) use new connectors to connect the new pipe to the existing pipes. A solution that required no digging under the sidewalk at all. I was amazed....yes, work smarter, not harder! I would recommend skipping the other guys can call Ernie's....ask for Fred

We had a big leak dripping out of the water heater, and it was a disaster. Ernie's sent Joey Polk, who is amazing! He replaced the piping to fix the big leak, put a floodstop device on the water heater to prevent further water problems, fixed the loose toilet, and put all new stops on the kitchen sink. It so happens that we had a new dishwasher being delivered that same day he did the repairs, and had Joey not fixed the stops and corrosion below the kitchen sink, our new dishwasher would have been destroyed just like the last one!!! He both fixed our plumbing problems and prevented future ones. For that, we are grateful. I'm using Ernie's from now on when I have a plumbing need

Ernie's plumber Donald #380 came out on time and was very professional and knew what he was doing. I had a very small gas leak in one of my lines in the attic. I located the leak so I knew where it was. I turned off the gas from the meter. Next day Ernie's sent Donald out to my home. I showed him the leak, he confirmed, quoted me a price, I agreed. Donald was professional, knew what he was doing, showed me a few things about my gas fireplace and gas hot water heater. We had a nice conversation, etc..... As a DIYer I am confident of doing some things around the house, but I don't mess with gas. Just a nice experience overall
