"I am aware of how bad the above review sounds. It was written with the intent to make us sound horrible. And it does. Take the tub for instance. If they wrote "IAQM damaged my tub in two places, attempted to repair it, it looked even worse but then they offered to replace it.", it just doesn't have the same effect. So they left those parts out. Same with the broken door handle, crown molding corner piece, etc.. They went from a happy client one day to a demand letter for $30,000 the next day. This demand occurred right after the clients were asked for the next installment of their payment that was due. Some of the complaints in this review are indeed valid. The work performed by our roofing and drywall subcontractors was not up to par. We have already spoken with the City of Rowlett regarding the permits and the work does not have to be completely ripped out and redone. The deficiencies have to be corrected and inspected. Our quote did not specify a paint type/brand. We have it in writing that they picked colors from Sherwin Williams but we were matching them at Lowe's. The paint budget/pricing isn't set by us, it was set by their insurance summary. Most of the items they claim were painted over were being discarded and replaced as part of the project, yet our company is being asked to compensate for them. The electrical outlets, covers, light fixtures, and windows were all being replaced with new. Since they have broken off all communication with us, we have submitted a request through our attorney to have a neutral third party fairly assess any damages and come to a settlement. There has been no response to our attempt at mediation. This has been a tough situation for us. In 15 years of business, our company has never had a bad review or a complaint. We place a high value on customer satisfaction and exceeding expectations. I hope any potential customer reading this will take into account our ENTIRE 15 year history of satisfied customers."

China). The leak was between the walls and was not apparent until we
noticed a stain in the downstairs kitchen ceiling. We had a plumber
take a look so we knew where it was coming from and then we noticed the
door frame to our bathroom and the tile on the outside corner of the
shower was cracking. By the weekend my husband had torn the wall out
from our bedroom to get to the leak and then tore a hole in our kitchen
ceiling. We had water in our kitchen fixture light above the sink. We
noticed mold/mildew once everything was exposed. Feeling nervous about
it we found IAQM on Angies list and spoke to Katie. This was on a
Sunday! They work 24/7 365 days. She gave us facts about what to look
for, what to consider as far as our health. We were told that Texas has
a mold law for companies such as theirs which allows them to perform
either testing OR remediation. They cannot do both. We could not have
remediation come out until the home was tested, by law. Katie provided
us with a couple of testing companies, we called one immediately after
speaking with her. He came out that afternoon, called us with
preliminary results within an hour and sent them to a lab to confirm.
Luckily we were not at risk and could remain in our home.
IAQM
showed up on Monday xmas eve to contain the area. They came back the
day after xmas and worked from 10am to 11:30pm to tear out all the
sheetrock, tile and any surfaces damp or exposed to mold. They were
informative, prompt, professional and responded to all our calls. We
had constant communication with them throughout the process. I would
highly recommend them!
"Thank you taking the time to write such a great review our company!"
