I have traveled across several states building and detailing Multi-million dollar projects as well as remodeling various properties. I recently moved to Lubbock in order to help take care of my family, and I am trying to start my own business to work for myself and build a relationship within the community. I take pride in everything I work on, so I want you to get exactly what you imagine when you hire me in confidence.

I’ve been working on my own home for 4 years on and off remodeling both bathrooms and the kitchen from the floor joists to the ceiling! I have also done other similar projects in the past 10 years. I live in Levelland currently but I work in most of the surrounding cities including Lubbock, Littlefield, and Wolfforth. My expertise is sheetrock and painting, and I can also do just about any other handyman job. Communication is very important to me and I put high attention on detail. The more we can communicate about your project the better! I look forward to working with you

"Randy inspected the job and gave me a price quote. He was able to do the work on my schedule. He installed a pet door where one already was. The new door was twice as large as the old door. The product mfg. did not include all the parts necessary to complete the job. Randy devised a solution to the problem, went and purchased extra supplies and completed the installation in a short time. He stayed with his quote even though the job required more time and materials that he should not have had to provide. GREAT JOB!"

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

If a pool turns green after adding salt, there’s a good chance the salt is the problem. Certain brands of salt have high levels of iron that cause pool water to take on a green hue. Test your pool water to determine if this is the issue. The green color will usually filter out. Brush the sides of the pool to knock the iron off.

This is just one reason a pool can turn green that is specific to adding salt. Many other reasons a pool can turn green include algae growth, low chlorine levels, a faulty filter, etc.

You shouldn’t swim in a pool with algae. When there’s algae, there’s also bacteria that’s feeding on the algae. Also, algae-infested pool water is often chemically imbalanced, which means germs like Cryptosporidium, Giardia, and E.coli could be present. These germs can cause a range of illnesses from gastrointestinal issues, to rashes, and respiratory problems.

The best thing to do is to get rid of the algae first, test and balance the water, and then you can enjoy swimming without any worries.

The type of sand you need for your sand filter depends on the manufacturer’s instructions, but you’ll need to use sand specifically for pool filters. Silica sand is a wallet-friendly, common choice that’s relatively easy to replace. You’ll choose between various grades of sand and different-sized sand grains.

An in-ground swimming pool enhances property value by adding a luxurious aesthetic and functional feature. It appeals to potential homebuyers who value outdoor entertainment and relaxation spaces, thus raising market desirability.

The regulations for pool fence heights vary by state, so be sure to research what the legal, minimum height is in your area before purchasing or installing a fence. Though every region is different, generally a pool fence must be at least 4 and ½ feet high. If you’re unsure whether you need a fence around your pool, and how high that fence should be, contact a local pool enclosure expert to help you successfully, and safely, move forward.
