A little hard to get scheduled due to busy spring season, but once that was resolved they met all expectations. Professional and quality work. Negotiated additional fee to install attic ventilation fan which was fair and installed without issue.

It worked out fine. They did a good job. They cleaned up after themselves. They answered all our questions. They came up with some good solutions to some little quirks that the house had been built with. The quality was very good. It was commensurate. It was worth it. They were very responsive and very good. For what they did, I think the price was fair. It was right in line with the work they did.

Description of Work
I had great service from Professional roofing contractors, communication was excellent, calls were returned promptly, very friendly staff and they work with my insurance adjuster to get me the most coverage possible, everything seem to go smoothly from start to finish and the work looks really great. The clean up is the best I've ever seen, you would not even know they had come except for the beautiful new roof. Thank you to Jonathan, Ann and Cody.

I responded to a mailed advertising postcard. Kris Barger, the "General Manager" came promptly on May 22 and persuasively talked to me about my hail-damaged roof. I opted to go with Professional Roofing Contractors. Kris was at my home when the insurance adjuster came. Shortly thereafter, I sent him two emails. He didn't respond to either. On May 29 I called his cell phone number. It was "out." I called the office number listed on his business card. The woman answering assured me that Kris was available and that he'd call me back. On May 29, not having heard from him, I called again. The woman assured me that he'd gotten my first message and that she'd follow up with him. Nothing. At that point, I reopened my roofer search and selected another roofer who fulfilled each of his promises and finished my hail damage reroofing job on June 21, 2012

They are real nice. They are a little pricey but they were very professional. The guy that owns the company has been in this area for about 30 years. They recommended the proper installation methods for roofing instead of doing a quick and dirty job. They took the time to explain to me the differences in the types installation, and if I didn't choose them to make sure I looked for certain things in a company. He was a little late, but we had our name spelled wrong. He did make contact though. I would call him again for another quote.

They never called back or come. I don’t think that is professional. He got on to the roof with a ladder, but I don’t know what he did on the roof. He never called back or did nothing. I will never call him back in the future.

Very good experience. The sales dude bent over backwards to accomodate my schedule, and showed up at the appointed time. Estimate was provided at the promised time. When the estimate was over the insurance allowance, the company took care of contacting the insurance company to work out the difference. They successfully worked out the price. The work was completed in one day by a large crew. The gounds were thouroughly cleaned. The company has been VERY patient about getting paid - waiting on my insurance company and mortgage company to go through the process. Most roofing companies require (at least) partial payment up front, with the balance due the day the job is finished. Then they leave you on your won to get your money from your insurance company. Professional Roofing Contractors has worked with me every step of the way, ensuring a positive experience for everyone involved. I have dealt with several roofing companies over the years, but Professional Roofing contractors has been the best. I contacted them after seeing several good reviews on angies list. I guess it worked out good for me.

Replaced roof damaged by wind storm. Upgraded to architectural shingles, and added roof ridge vents. Also replaced skylight.

Jonathan was great! He gave us a very accurate inspection and estimate. He explained the job carefully, and listened to our concerns about possible facia damage. He told us to call him anytime with questions or concerns, and we did. He always got back to us promply, and was very knowledgeable and professional. They kept us informed during the job. They did a great job cleaning up too. They even painted the pipes on the roof to match the shingles. The roof looks great! We've had afew storms since then, and sofar no leaks. There was good communication between the estimator and the crew who showed up to work, something you don't always get. They knew where the possible problem areas were. We were very satisfied with everything, and would highly recommend Professional Roofing.

Due to extensive hail damage, we had the entire roof replaced. We also had soffit and facia repair. They cleaned our gutters at no additional charge. We have a two story house with a steep pitch. Not an easy job, but they finished quickly and made it look easy!

Due to hail damage, I had to have a new roof installed. From Florida where I'm located, I had contacted four roofing companies prior to finding Professional Roofing on Angie's List. The first company quoted a price twice as high. The second cost somewhat less but couldn't get to the job for another four months, as was the case with a third company. Professional, on the other hand, went out and looked at the roof the same day I called. Jonathan got back to me promptly with faxed quotes and telephone communication throughout my week-long experience with the company. After the job was completed, he even asked me to get someone to check out the inside of the house to be sure no leaks were evident. The service provided to me was professional and personable at all times, particularly in an awkward situation when dealing with the company from another state.

We contacted Professional Roofing Contractors and they said they would call us back to schedule the repairs. Someone called us back within the timeframe they stated and we arranged a time for the workers to do the work. They showed up on time, assessed the situation and needed to go and get some supplies. They returned and completed the work. Before leaving, the workers told us to watch the area closely the next time it rained because although they repaired everything they could see, there was a possibility that there could be a secondary leak that they weren't able to detect. Within a few days, it did rain and there appeared to be a second leak from a different area that was dripping water in the same general area as the first leak. We called. They called us back to set up a time. The workmen showed up on time and identified the second leak. They repaired it and tested it with water from a hose and the leak was fixed. Several rains since then have confirmed the repair was completed.

The project coordinator, Vasil, was very quality conscious. He pointed out that the boots that cover the various pipes in the roof needed to be replaced - something I wasn't aware of. He was also very picky in choosing the color of shingles to use in the replacement, even though you couldn't hardly see the roof where it was. The biggest problem I had with them was the subcontractor that was to actually do the job. Vasil kept saying he would come, and I believe he told Vasil he was coming, but multiple times he didn't show up. I can somewhat understand, since my job was small potatoes. Unfortunately, one of the times when he missed was followed by a tropical storm, and I ended up with a leak in my master bedroom that I'm going to have to paint over somehow. I haven't had any leaks before or since, but then again I haven't had 6 inches of rain either. Overall, if you have the time these guys are good, but if your job is time-sensitive you may want to look around.

I had some damage to the shingles on one roof edge from branches brushing the edge of the roof. I had them come and replace the shingles, trim the branches, and replace some boots over the various pipes that come out of the roof.

The estimator served as the single point of contact for the entire job, including estimation, contract, and final inspection, which I liked. PRC has just one crew of 8-10 men, and they obviously work well together. The entire roof was stripped and most of the replacement shingles installed in one day. Half of a second day was necessary to finish re-roofing and replace plywood, sheathing, and roof vent collars. A third visit was needed to finish the chimney area flashing and shingles (underestimated shingles about 2-1/2 squares and they ran out). A fourth and final visit from the estimator for a final inspection and caulking on window seams finished the job.
Description of Work
Re-roofed entire roof of 2-story house, approximately 47 squares, using 30-year architectural asphalt shingles and new felt paper. Included removal of old shingles and felt paper, replacement of four sheets rotted plywood sheathing, installation of 75 feet of ridge vents on two roof peaks, replacement of flashing around chimney, removal of 6-inch gas vent and inoperable satellite dish, and removal/replacement of roof vent collars, satellite dish.

Our roof was in bad shape, we were starting to experience leaks. We had Professional Roofing come out and give us a quote. Their quote was middle of the road and it detailed out what additional services (such as replacing boards) would cost. Our decision to go with them was based on price, the work they had done at our parent's home, and the length of time they have been in business in this community. The shingles were delivered the day before the roof was to be replaced. The day the roof was to be replaced, they showed up when expected with a very large crew. Although we had anticipated replacing a few boards, they informed us that the boards were not rotting and should be okay. I very much appreciated their honesty. They did a good job of cleaning up the debris, few if any nails were found after they left. They also re-fastened our gutters, not knowing our next project was to replace those as well.

I had hail damage on my home, gazebo, and utility shed. I received a fair quote from Professional Roofing (had several other quotes). The crew showed up on time and went to work-ten guys that looked like an army of ants... Had to replace a couple of rotten pieces of plywood and a broken skylight on my gazebo, rehang a piece of gutter, and replace roof vents. I was amazed at how fast they worked, clean everything was kept, and thorough the job was done. I was VERY satisfied. Of course, the true test will be in the next storm that has fifty mile an hour wind and dumps a couple of inches of rain....

Remove and haul off existing shingles, replace a couple of pieces of plywood and facia board, hang a gutter, replace roof vents, and shingle a house, gazebo, and utility shed.
