Small jobs welcome

"These guys have and continue to do a fantastic job on our property. I hire them to mow and maintain my property on a weekly basis, but Iâ ve also hired them to do some bigger landscaping projects and they have crushed it every single time. These guys are honest, friendly, punctual, and always meet expectations. They have earned my business for years to come!"

"Tom was very responsive and provided great service at a fair price. He checked the entire system and moved any sprinkler head needed by shrubbery growth. Installed a new control unit that I had purchased myself and then carefully repaired, aligned and checked out every sprinkler head to ensure best coverage. Very impressed with his attention to detail. Would recommend to anyone."

"The grass at my store was very high. I just started as manager a little over a month ago. Never entered my mind to have the grass mowed until it was way too high. Jalen gave me a fair price and did a great job. It was extremely hot, he finished quickly and it looks great. I recommend him to everyone."

Lawn Care questions, answered by experts

Ultimately, pulling weeds vs. spraying them depends on what’s happening in your yard and your personal preferences. Manual weed removal doesn’t introduce any chemicals into your landscape, targets specific problematic plants, produces immediate results, can be free if you go the DIY route, and is inexpensive with a weed service if you only have a handful of weeds. On the other hand, spraying is often preferable for severe weed infestations and situations involving difficult-to-pull weeds because it treats multiple weeds at once, is usually more effective long-term, is less time-consuming, and costs less when done by a pro.

Yellow patches, poor growth, or widespread weeds indicate a need for treatment. Soil testing can confirm nutritional deficiencies that require intervention.

Post-dethatching, lawn recovery includes watering, fertilizing, and reseeding as necessary to restore health and promote growth.

Starting a mowing business can be profitable if you manage your business wisely, calculate costs accurately, and invest in time-efficient, high-quality equipment. With good customer service, you can lock in loyal customers who invest in weekly lawn care services that turn your business into a successful one.

Lawn care businesses can earn anywhere from $40,000 to over $100,000 per year depending on how you operate, but you’ll need to factor in the cost of equipment to determine your actual profit margins.

St. Augustine is a hardy grass that’s relatively easy to grow, but it requires regular lawn maintenance to stay healthy. It’s best to keep up with a regular fertilization schedule during the growing season, plus a yearly dethatching to help it properly absorb air and moisture. Watering is also important, so be sure to water it enough to keep the soil moist.
