"I highly recommend Ali Drywall! They recently painted my entire house, including the baseboards, and the results exceeded my expectations. Their attention to detail, professionalism, and quality of work were outstanding from start to finish. The fresh paint completely transformed my home and honestly brought it back to life. The walls and trim look flawless, and they took great care to make sure everything was done right. They were reliable, efficient, and left everything clean when the job was finished. As a Realtor, I walk through a lot of homes and work with many contractors, so I know quality workmanship when I see it. Ali Drywall truly stands out for their craftsmanship, professionalism, and commitment to customer satisfaction. If you're looking for a company that takes pride in their work and delivers amazing results, Ali Drywall is the one to call. Thank you for making my home look beautiful again!"

"Darrell and his crew removed our old deck and in it's place, installed a screen porch and new deck surrounding it. Darrell provided some design ideas on the screen porch, and was very helpful. The cedar trim around all the screen openings looks awesome! The workmen showed up on time, did an excellent job, and did it all for a reasonable price. Now that it's done, we love our new screen porch and deck. Before starting this prokect, we talked to 4 contractors. We selected Mr. Fix-It. If we had it to do over again, we'd still select Mr, Fix-It to build our new deck and screen porch."

"Jason (owner) and Sammy (employee) did a very good job in repairing my 90 year old father’s deck. They were diligent in their work and paid attention to detail. They had to navigate the job through a lot of on and off rain and Jason always kept me abreast of the fluctuating schedule due to the rain. They encountered some unforeseen issues in putting up the railing but continued to come up with solutions that led to a successful instillation. The job was completed within the budget we all agreed upon. They are both good guys and I enjoyed working with them on this project. I would recommend them for your home restoration projects."

Wallpapering questions, answered by experts

Both paint and wallpaper can work in a bathroom, provided you choose high-quality products in either category. Washable vinyl wallpapers can stand up to bathroom humidity without peeling, as can semi-gloss or gloss paint finishes. However, if you’re someone who likes to redecorate often, paint may make it easier to change colors or designs more quickly. If you want full humidity protection and cleanability, tile or stone works better.

No, you don’t need to apply paint primer to your wall before hanging paintable wallpaper. Manufacturers design paintable wallpaper so that the paint will adhere effectively, so primer isn’t necessary. Plus, even if you opt for a light shade of paint, you won’t have to worry about the shade underneath showing through because you are painting on a light, white surface.

When comparing peel-and-stick and traditional wallpaper, the better choice depends on your specific needs and space. Peel-and-stick wallpaper is more budget-friendly and easier to DIY install. On the other hand, traditional wallpaper lasts much longer and holds up better in a wider variety of spaces, including areas with moisture like kitchens and bathrooms.

Options include bricks, natural stone, and concrete blocks. Choose based on durability, aesthetics, and budget.

No. If you overlap seams, the wallpaper will not come out flat. In addition to possibly throwing off your pattern match between rolls, overlapping seems necessary. If wallpaper is properly acclimated, and temperature and moisture conditions are optimal during installation, there is no reason to fear shrinkage as it dries.
