They cleaned the furnace and they thought they set it up so that it would work, but it didn't. And then my son-in-law had to come in and fix it. And then I had the fellow that actually came the first time, he came back and he fixed it. So actually I had three different visits - two from Reliable and one from my son-in-law. They said that there were two different problems, something about the air conditioner contact was fried, whatever that means. That was replaced by my son-in-law. And then he came back and he said that the contact between the air conditioning monitor on the wall and the furnace wasn't making contact at all. So he drilled a hole and put wiring in to facilitate this and it has been working fine ever since. He charged me for the second visit. I don't know why it wasn't caught the first time. I don't know why it took two visits to do this. The second time it was $53. The first time it was $89 and $29. There was a pound of Freon that needed to be replaced. It was leaking, but they don't know why. It cost us $75 to have it cleaned. It wasn't done right the first time. He didn't find the air conditioning problem and he thought he fixed the monitor. Actually, I paid for a new monitor. That was what the $89 was, if I recall right. The Freon that was kind of up in the air. I needed it, I needed it. And $75 to have the furnace cleaned, that's given. That needed to be done. It had been two years. But the fact that he put a new monitor in and thought it was going to work. I can't remember whether he waited until the air went down. I keep it at 72-73. It was 78 and I think he left. And it never did go down. That's the point where my son-in-law came in. Because this was Thursday. I called the office Friday around 4 o' clock and someone in the office took the message and he never called until Monday morning. So I had no air conditioning for two days. Then he came back Monday morning and he actually did fix it and it did go down to 73 and it has been working fine ever since. But it was unfortunate the way it was handled. That's how I feel about it. I didn't have a problem with the pricing except that he had to come back a second time and I had to pay for the second hour. I figured it should have been done the first time he was here. I think he should have stayed until it went down to 73 from 78. I think that's really where he made his error. If I was his boss and had been given the information I would have told him, "You should have stayed on the job until you saw that it actually worked." He seemed like a good worker. He was very pleasant. No problems there, but as far as facilitation it wasn't handled the way it should have been.

Awesome job on the gutters. I just LOVE seamless gutters and the leaf guard over the top!! No more leaf removal anymore! WOO HOO! Water flows off our roof in the right spots- - down the corners and NOT over the edge of the middle of the gutters. RBS eliminated some middle drain spouts (middle of the house) and installed larger/ better sized gutters so that the water would flow out and down on the corners of the house.This was important for our septic drain field as well oddly. We'd been drenching our field with water off the house and had septic issues as a result. Now the water flows away from the septic field as well. They also repaired some damage on the roof from the massive hail that came down that day though that was small stuff. Reliable gets 5 STARS on this project! Thanks a TON.

RBS has kept my old Gibson heat/air system running for the last 5 years, replacing a few small parts and refilling my freon due to leaks as needed. They recommended saving for a new far more efficient (SEER15 vs old SEER10) system for about a year. With their help in advance keeping the old dog running till I could afford it, I had them finally replace/upgrade me yesterday. WHAT a JOB! The new system is indeed amazing and for an amazing price. We moved the location of the air handler to a more convenient spot opening up basement area access. The guys are serious CRAFTSMEN with metal duct work. It's beautiful how it was laid out and I can just 'see' the quality job compared to the install of the prior system. These guys really care about their work and how it looks. It shows. I should save a bunch come summer when this system's new efficiency really starts to pay off. Bring the HEAT! I am ready!

The guy in charge of the electrical, John, is very thorough and does a good job. Their rates are also reasonable. They are also reliable like their name says.

In most parts, it was fine. I didn’t think their finish work was as good as I’ve seen. I also still have a lingering problem that they keep saying they will fix. Overall, they are prompt and come when they say they would.

Call went GREAT. These guys showed up right on time and performed an amazing job getting my heat pump back working again. It really is amazing as this system was designed for a small mobile home and the house has grown over the past 10 years and has been pushed way beyond it's limits and lifespan. They were able to perform a few small fixes here and there to get it running again and get me a few more months until I can afford a new system. How can I be any happier? Prompt. Professional and.... Reliable! One return customer here for that new heat pump... !! Check my next review when that is installed!

They were responsive, scheduling an appointment promptly worked in between construction jobs. The work was done well, quickly at the quoted price. We really like John and the crew. Will definitely call them again!

It went very well. They were professional and organized. This was a difficult job because of the pitch of the roof. There was interference from a storm and heat. They took their time and I was very impressed.

My roof was damaged by high wind and several shingles were missing. While examining the house to write up the estimate, the foreman described one area with potential for serious leakage. I had some left over shingles and he patched the roof immediately at no cost. I was very grateful during the heavy rain later that night. Once the work began, I noticed the crew members were professional craftsmen in every respect. They were curteous, friendly, and respectful. The work they performed was perfect. On the second day, the foreman noted my roof on the back side of the house had a slightly raised ridge in one area. He explained how that could be repaired so the roof would lie flat. I authorized the repair and the small extra cost was worth it. Also, one of the crew members was cutting the bottom edges of the siding on the chimney and "eyebrows" above the 2nd floor windows to install flashing. He let me know there were several rotted places and made sure it would not leak until I can get more permanent repairs. These are just some examples of their professionalism and skills. The roof looks solid and greatly enhances the apearance of the house. As a result of their work on the roof, I have requested an estimate from them to replace my siding.

We are not sure...owner will not contact us....the roof holds water, the ceiling rattles when the fan is on, the gutter does not drain, and the electrician never came out to check his work (fan blows fuse) 2-9-2012 update The owner was notified again about the roof leak and he came by and said he would return to repair the gutter. It has been a week and he has not returned. I will update again when he returns. They did come by and repaired the roof problems and the bubbling on the posts. Water still sits on the roof, but the contractor said that is due to the pitch and to accomplish what he did he had to use that pitch...we are satisfied that he did return and try to fix the problems
