Gerald and Kim Brant started their carpet and rug cleaning business in 1979, a company run from their home -- a true mom and pop business -- dedicated to providing quality service to their customers. In the late 80’s, the Brant’s expanded their business to include smoke, fire, and water damage restoration. In order to better serve the needs of a growing commercial customer base, Lowcountry Clean Care, moved their base of operations to an outside office space in the early 90’s. With success, Lowcountry Clean Care evolved over time to include a contract building maintenance division, offering daily, weekly or monthly services to the commercial industry. In summer of 2011, Lowcountry Clean Care expanded once again and moved into a larger, more advanced facility at 27 Cemetary Road – where they are today -- allowing more oriental, area and specialty rugs to be processed and cleaned, resulting in a faster turnaround time for clients. Adding true “green clean” techniques, Lowcountry Clean Care is more efficient and better for the environment. And that means, it’s better for you too. "Absolutely abysmal! Came twice to try to remove brown spots, but could not do so. Charged $188, but could not get the spots out and actually bleached the white carpet to be lighter than it was to begin with. Carpet cleaning companies should do no harm even if they can’t get spots out!!!! Bob, manager or owner of Chem Dry Stated that he would give me $500 if the guy that I would’ve used to happen to be sick at the time give me $500 if that guy could get the stains out, which he did! Bob came by with the intent of not living up to his agreement, and did not do so, subsequently telling me he would see me in court, and calling rme an a****** after I told him he would lose business if he didn’t pay up since the stains were removed by Cleaning solution, my regular carpet guy. I had to pay my regular cleaning company, who is not available due to sickness, another $90, and they were able to get the spots out with no problem. Hilton head Chem Dry cannot get the job done, and will not do what is right when they can’t. Pictures below show how Chem dry left with spots still visible, and after Cleaning Solution came and removed the spots."

I called the next day and was told it usually took a week, they would call me. They never contacted me, I called a week later and was told it had been ready. "I discovered petpee.com when I was searching online for ways to remove the urine odor from our 10’ x 14’ Karastan wool oriental rug. I had planned to clean the rug myself, but I was intrigued by the videos I saw on YouTube of petpee.com’s owner, Meir Martin, demonstrating how he cleans rugs like mine. I searched for petpee.com reviews and was blown away by the number of glowing reviews that had been written by satisfied customers. I knew then and there that I wanted to turn my rug over rug to Mr. Martin to finally get rid of the urine odor that had been building up for over 10 years. I called him and got a quote of $1079, which included shipping both ways, cleaning the rug, and a guarantee that I would not be able to detect any urine odor when my rug was returned to me. After getting over the sticker shock, my husband gave me the green light to send the rug to petpeepee.com. I think he was more interested in getting rid of my constant complaints about the urine odor than the actual odor itself! Mr. Martin walked us through how to pack up our rug for shipping via UPS, having us send him pictures to make sure we had prepared it properly. Apparently some of the tape I had used to secure the label to the package was not completely flat and caused the label and bag to tear. Mr. Martin received my rug via Next Day Air from UPS on August 23 and began the cleaning process the next day. I loved receiving videos and pictures of the rug being cleaned and getting updates from Mr. Martin throughout the process. We received the rug back on September 2, and it smelled as fresh as it did the day we bought it! It looked so clean and new – worth every penny we paid to have petpeepee.com clean it.
