"Beware!! I was double charged for trash service this month. My previous tenant who moved out months prior from this address was charged $123 without notice, for services he already terminated. Then they charged me $83. They proceeded to take BOTH of my trash cans after receiving DOUBLE payments. We will be switching services and expect full refunds, especially since we have been since charged double and have no trashcans to show for it. I just love the smell of trash in my house and garage because of other incompetence. Do not recommend if you enjoy being able to put your trash into a trash receptacle. If I could leave zero stars I would."

"After nearly 20 years of doing business with Waste Management, I switched to Atlantic Waste because they offered recycling. I paid 2/3 more just to do business with a company that was forward thinking enough to offer recycling. They were supposed to come out yesterday and never did. I called again today and was told they would send someone to collect the recycling. I'm disappointed and infuriated to report that the garbage truck showed up and loaded all my recycling in with the regular trash. When I confronted the garbage man, he said he was told to just collect everything. I then called to complain and was told that Curbie came out yesterday and said my items were deemed "contaminated" because I had separated the plastic in a separate bag. The problem is, Curbie never came by my house yesterday. If Curbie had truly come out and deemed my items to be "contaminated", the woman would certainly have told me that this morning when I called. Instead, she told me my recycling would be picked up. Also, I was never offered a recycling guide like they claim to have. Atlantic took the easy way out by just dumping the items in with the garbage. I guess the take away is that you need to follow up to make sure your items are truly being recycled."
