We purchased a deal through Angie's List. When we called to make the appointment, Jay was very helpful and courteous. On the day of the appointment, Jay and his helper called to see if I was available earlier and I was. They arrived and were so speedy that we were able to have them install a new electrical outlet, as well as add a new light switch to a hard wired light in under two hours. They were thoughtful about placement and safety. We have young children and Jay installed an outlet with extra safety features. They cleaned up after themselves and were respectful of our home. We were so pleased with them that we have already set up another time for them to come back to do an additional job.

Jay was punctual and friendly. He worked quickly and I am very satisfied with the result. He was also happy to answer any questions I had and provided helpful suggestions.

Jay from Positive Energy Electric performed the electrical work in our house and from start to finish did an excellent job. He was referred to us by another electrician and he quickly called to set up an appointment for an estimate. He was straightforward about what the work would entail, how much it would cost and approximately how long it would take. He made suggestions regarding the placement of the lights to result in better coverage and improved symmetry (we found this quite helpful). Most important to us was that he patiently responded to our questions prior to performing all of the work. The work ultimately took slightly longer than expected because of some snafus based on our home construction, but Jay explained clearly any trouble he encountered and potential solutions. These included having to change the types of recessed lighting fixtures included; I suspect these fixtures were more expensive but Jay didn't charge us extra. Further, Jay didn't rush, but rather put in the time that was needed to get it done correctly. Once all the work was completed, Jay meticulously cleaned up. We are very pleased with the result of the work; it is high quality at a very fair price. In the future, we will call Jay at Positive Energy Electric for any electrical work we need completed.

Jay was great! He was actually referred to us by our established electrician and we could not be happier. We had a big knob and tube job in our attic and he came in, was friendly and easy to talk to, described everything and did the work efficiently and on schedule. When we ended up having one small issue he came right back and spent the time to fix it. I was dreading this project and he made it easy. I highly recommend Jay and can tell you that if we need an electrician we will be calling him again

Half of my house went dark one Sunday morning. Some outlets worked, others didn't. Called and said it could wait until Monday - but since he was in the area, he came by that afternoon. Found out fairly quickly that a plug had fried and the current was stopped there. We were back in business in no time and he did not charge us outrageously for any day - never mind a Sunday! He gave us some information to keep us going and I would definitely use this company again. As a matter of fact I am calling him again today! :)

I was referred to Jay Laury from another elecrical contractor who was "too busy" to do my work. Jay came to my home to introduce himself and review the job specs. He promised to start at 8am and finish at 2 pm installing a new upgraded electrical service outside the house and new 100 amps breaker service panel and breakers in the house. While his assistant was working on the interior, Jay worked on the exterior and the complete installation was finished by 2pm. Jay returned the following day to finish other interior upgrades and replaced a ceiling light in my hallway and an additional kitchen ceiling light as requested. Jay also made various recommendations for various future improvements that I might consider. And, all work sites were cleaned up. Jay was very easy to deal with, very knowledgeable (he is a Master Electrician) and gave me good advice. He also took his time explaining what he was doing as he went along. I would highly recommend Jay Laury for great work and competitive pricing.
