We had an old deck torn down and replaced, old concrete pad ripped out, and 2 nasty doors torn out and replaced! From the initial meeting with Ben to the end of the project it went pretty smooth! If we had any issues at all they were very responsive to our issues and they were taken care of as soon as possible! Kenny and BJ would get here bright and early and get started right away! We felt very comfortable with these 2 guys!! Very personable to talk to as well =) Thank you Ben, Trish, Tom, Kenny, BJ, and Bill!! We are so pleased with our new deck =) Included in my review is 1 before photo and 3 after photos!

It went very well, they were very professional and it was completed in two days.

We called them back maybe a half dozen times to come back and redo things.

I have worked with this company many times over the last 30 years.  They have sided my house, built a detached 3 car garage, added a master bedroom and bath to my house and just this summer repaired the mess that I had in my basement from having waterproofing system installed.  The owner is responsive, his crew are professional, friendly and punctual.  If you are flexible, he works with you.  I would use them again for future remodeling efforts.

We had contracted them for a front deck and a two car garage. During them signing of the contract we had been told that it would be complete in 90 days, they didn't show up for over 90 days and they only did show up because we called and complained. Then they would work for a day or so and not return for weeks, this went on for months. When they did show up they would leave a mess of nails and rubbish all over that we were stuck cleaning up do to we had two small children. After all that, when finally completed there salesman started showing up threatening for the final payment. He had done this several times in the morning when my boys were headed to school and once while I was out of state! They had purchased the roof trusses from a supplier that I had requested not to purchase from when delivered I had asked them Not to put them on for they where all Bowed material!. Upon completion it was noticed that the garage roof was sagging between the trusses. We could not get any response so we had contacted the Attorney General whom was also very useless and was then referred to the York County Builders association whom charged us $300 for an inspection. During this so called inspection, it was more of a raping and beat down, The rep from the builders association tried to walk right into the house like he lived there several times. He had brought 3 other contracting firms along for this inspection(two of which had already given us quotes to fix this roof). The owner of Yorklyn had came out also with three of his crooners. All of these scumballs together pushed the entire problem back on us and stated " The roof sag is the result of the inspector and the material supplier, which is NOT there problem!" To this day I have a roof that will take $10,000 to repair, $10,000 to replace or hire a lawyer for $10,000 and try to sue.
