There was some improvement, no longer freezes. However, it still is very slow to fully start up.

I am happy that the computer is back to normal functionality. York Computer Repair (Walt) was very professional in his approach to the problem. He diagnosed the computer and quoted me a price for repair. There was no upfront cost and it was up to me to decide if I wanted the repair done or not. Walt also evaluated my computer and assured me that its component parts were worth the cost of repair, rather than buying a new computer. 
I was given an estimated time of repair, and periodic updates until it was ready for pickup. Overall, I was pleased with the work done by York Computer Repair and would definitely use their services again.

Nate is a computer specialist that has a way of explaining complicated computer issues so the average person can understand.
I found him to be a sincere and honest business man that I can trust . He was upfront with how he does business. There were no suprise extra charges. The work was done in a timely manner. I felt I got my money's worth doing business with York Computer Repair. Communications were excellent. My computer runs like new. When the time comes to buy a new computer I will be doing my business at York Computer Repair. I am glad I read the reviews on Angie's List. They led me to a great place to do business.

The service call could not have been better....excellent

Initially, several ports were left unconnected, and there was a problem with memory card compatability, 
but that was fixed within a couple days.  Overall, everything worked out well.

Very good service and prompt...lots of good information about computers.

Provided computer tune up. The process took longer than I expected, but he kept me in loop on everything and it all went well.

Walt took an excessive amouot of time to do the job right and well and I really thank him for his expertise and patience.

Our experiences with them was fine. They had it ready when they said it would. They were professional and seem to be thorough. He seemed a little distracted, because he had a lot of things going on. He was in the middle of a move.

They were very helpful.

Called them in the a.m. and within the hour they called back--asked what the problem was--got into the computer from their office---worked on it all day on and off---corrected the problem and have not had an issue since.  Courteous, prompt, polite--they kept calling during the  day to let me know they were still working on it and I could see what they were doing since they had control of the computer.  Even though it took about 6 hours the cost remained at the estimate they had given me in the morning.  Rep was knowledgeable, polite and professional.  I will never go anywhere else and highly recommend them to anyone.  A+ service.

The gentlemen at York computer are great. I contacted them to help setup a computer for a family member in the area.  They efficiently and quickly completed the setup. Additionally they are there to answer any ongoing questions and provide support. They are extremely knowledgeable, honest and able to provide soltuions which meet the indivdual user's needs. I highly recommend them!
