Well. All of the people we interacted with from Wherley Generations throughout our move process were friendly and helpful. The three movers were polite and respectful. My in-laws were downsizing and not bringing all furniture with them; the movers helped move extra pieces to the garage so we could more easily get rid of them. It rained lightly on move day and they were careful not to mess up the carpet in the new house. Very happy overall with our experience and would definitely recommend them.

100% impressed. Seven men did our moving on a hot, humid day in the middle of July. It was hot. It was humid. And hot. I was amazed at how efficiently they moved my entire 2nd floor apartment (a fairly big apartment that contained my furnishings along with the furnishings my boyfriend had in his apartment before he moved in, so 2 apartments-worth of stuff). The apartment was empty in under 2 hours. Once everything was pretty much done, they guys asked me about every item left in the house and whether it should have been packed or not. They didn't touch the stuff I told them to leave behind and they took everything that I had forgotten to have loaded earlier. They took a short break about halfway through packing - I don't even think it was half an hour - and promptly got right back to work. The unloading went just as smoothly. Everyone was professional, relaxed (definitely needed when I'm stressed), polite, strong, and super hard-working. I can't recommend them enough.

Fantastic! I've worked with this company many times to move some commercial offices I oversee. This is the first time I've used them on a residential level and they were just as professional as always. The move was from York, PA to Downingtown, PA and Wherley Movers was, by far, the lowest quote we received. The movers were on time (in fact, they were about 5 minutes early) and were ready to work immediately. They were quick and efficient and very easy to work with. I will continue to use this company professionally and anytime I have residential moving needs in the future.

The move was seamless. 5 movers (men) arrived. All professional, courteous and efficient. The service cost less than expected. Lori was outstanding as the office manager and I cannot say enough about Alan, the crew chief and Mike, Dan, Thomas, and Bryant. I highly recommend this company to anyone planning to move!

The staff were all courteous and EXTREMELY helpful. They placed items and moved furniture until it was just right, even provided some great insights on placement. These guys were graat. I would definitely use them again and reccommend them wholeheartedly.

This was the best moving experience I can imagine. They were punctual, polite and treated our possessions with respect and care. Our furniture was being moved into a new home, and they were extra-careful to cover the floors, railings, etc. so as not to cause any damage. I would highly recommend this moving company!

Great company! Super fast to respond to my request via Angie's List. They came out right away and gave me an estimate with an estimate on whatever overages might occur. For instance, adding an entire room of furniture after the quote would obviously change the price.
They broke out my insurance options and explained each of the choices. When I didn't choose the most expensive option, they didn't try to up sell it. They accepted my choice and answered all of my questions so that I could make the right choice.
They were in constant contact with me via email (I hate talking on the phone). Answering questions so quickly that I wasn't left waiting around for a reply. Potentially being forced to pick up a phone! Every email was responded to with a quick, professional reply.
When the movers came, they patiently waited while I changed my mind about where something should be placed. And they gave me recommendations that were much better than what I'd thought of and my home looks much better because of it.
I told them to set up my heavy sleigh bed one way and then changed my mind and had them rearrange the furniture. Not one complaint. They just asked if they could do anything else for me. And it wasn't sarcastic. They were being sincere!
My main worry had been about my glass hutch. It's really heavy and delicate. They treated it with kid gloves and it didn't have one piece of damaged glass. It was impressive.
I've added Wherley Generations to my saved list. I know that I will use them again. I highly recommend them. They were wonderful!

This was my first time out of state move. Owners wife arrived at our home to take inventory and provided us with a quote. Customers service was responsive, and accommidating, as we had to change our move date in short notice. The day of the move was bitter cold with temps below 10 degrees. Movers arrived on time, and worked practically not stop all morning and into the early afternoon. Men where very professional, and worked their butts off. They arrived at our new location 3 days later and provided the same proffesional hard work. Move went off without a hitch, and nothing was damaged. Final cost of the move was the same price as the original quote. There where none of the horror stories I heard about with some long distance movers, and I would not hesitate to hire Wherley Movers again.

First the owner's wife came to review my situation and give me a quote. The three young men arrived this morning. They were professional and very strong! They moved my entire household and set it up in the new place in about 5 hours. I chose them because of their good reviews on Angie's list and I was not disappointed! The actual cost came in at the low end of the estimate.
Despite mud mud mud at my new home there was no mud tracked in at all. this company really knows what they are doing. you can trust them.

Very professional job. The office staff were very helpful. They came out and gave us an estimate. We changed the date and time several times due to the weather. No problem.
The moving crew, led by Rob, was terrific. Both Rob and his partner were excellent. They hustle, yet they are careful with your possessions. We had three plasmas, and they moved them successfully without any problems. The upstairs stairwell is tight, but they handled it extremely well. They came in within budget and within the time estimate. A very good experience during an unnerving time in anyone's life.

A very nasty rainy day! Nothing wet,spoiled or dirty.

We were very pleased with the service provided. A very pleasant crew of three men worked with us and were patient and meticulous with our move. Some of our furniture needed to be taken apart and reassembled. They did this very well. There were some scratches and dents on some of our furniture, but these were minor.

The movers were very professional. They showed up when they said they would and worked efficiently. They were very careful with my belongings (and with the houses when carrying things out and in). I went with this smaller company instead of one of the big ones mostly because they only loaded my belongings one time. The big companies would have sent a van, transferred my belongings to a semi truck, and transferred them again to a van before delivering them to the new house. Instead, my belongings were packed carefully once and everything arrived intact.

They are great. Never had any problems. The amount was what they quoted before the moving job and never changed the amount. We are very satisfied and they very professional.

Mike is a credible guy with a professional and seasoned crew, were very attentive with no damage. Worked a little too fast for me on the unload but were responsive when I wanted to regroup and make sure things were put in the right places.

Company was fantastic. Quickly scheduled a visit to look at the items to move then quickly sent an estimate. Movers arrived on time and carefully moved all the items. Everything was in storage and we weren't sure of condition of all the items. When the mover found an item that was broken, they carried it over to me so I was aware of the condition. They quickly loaded everything. When they arrived at the new house, they quickly unloaded everything. Final bill was at the lower end of the estimate which was a pleasant surprise. I would recommend this company for any more - local or long distance.
