Carpet looks and smells great

I think we had one extra thing done above their standard. There was a little bit of a mix up when I talked to them on the phone to make the arrangements. They said to go ahead and move as much of the furniture out of the two rooms as you can and have it ready for them. When the crew got here, and they saw half of our furniture out on the front porch they said, “what’s all of this doing out here?” I said, “we were told to move everything that we could handle.” They said, “oh no, we’re supposed to move it for you.” So, having a bad back and moving all that furniture didn’t do me a whole lot of good, but that’s what happened. Otherwise the cleaning went well. It was a good price for that. It turned out that they did a real good job. I would probably try someone else to see what else is out there on the public market.

It was pretty good, it was like $39 per room, it was special.

They called with an arrival time that morning and they arrived when they were scheduled. The two men were very friendly and professional. They explained everything and and asked if I had any concerns, then went right to work. They worked hard inspite of the heat. When they were finished they asked if everything was O.K. Theyven socialized with my grandson WO had million questions. I hope all their employees are this nice and efficient.

I have my own private shampoo and so, I do it myself. But, every once in a while I get a professional in. They were an A in quality. The carpet looks good after they leave.

The actual cleaning went reasonably OK.  The scheduling office said to clear the rooms as thoroughly as possible.  When the crew got here, they asked why the rooms were so empty.  After relating the previous conversation, they said that we need not have done so much work - that they could have done it.   While setting up, the crew asked for a water line to hook up a garden hose.   The nearest faucet I had was in the garden 100' down in the yard.  I had to get our garden hose out of winterized storage and turn on the water line.  The office was supposed to have told us a water source would be required.
The crew was hardworking and thorough.  They did a fine job.

The carpet cleaning was good and I would have given that an A. But, what they did on the tile was very unsatisfactory. I didn't shop for the price. I would like to try someone else. The tile work was insufficient but their comment was that it was as good as it would get. I had another workman come in and he did some grouting. He said that he thought that it was not good and I asked if he could clean them and he said he would. What he did was head and shoulders above what Stanley Steemer did. he doesn't normally do cleaning work but because he was working on the grout, he agreed to do so.

Two member team arrived on time and as scheduled. Took over two hours to clean. Rugs looked almost new. They were 7 years old so typical wear in some areas. Took extra time to remove any stubborn spots. They will ask to upgrade services but I didn't see the  need to do so if carpet is not worn down or no pets. Will definitely use again. Check for coupons before calling.

The service was Excellent! They were funny, and  courteous. Our carpets still look brand new even after three weeks of service. With other providers our carpets have lasted a week looking this clean.

They arrived on time, moved and replaced the furniture, took care to spot clean any areas needing it before doing the actual cleaning. After finishing up, they went over the areas cleaned with a stain guard type product. I would also note that they were professional at all times....they were also careful not to track anything in from the outside.

This was our second time using Stanley Steemer and their service still proved to be efficient, punctual, professional, and completed their jobs with care.  We had to hire a service because we have berber carpets and the home steam cleaners that you can purchase don't work well on berber.  They moved furniture and placed "booties" on the legs of all furniture.  They were very careful not to drag in more dirt from the outside and wore booties the entire time.  I would highly recommend them to anyone that needs their services.  I will continue to use their services in the future.  This review is 6 months after the work was completed so the dollar amount might be off a little.  They offer specials so sign up for their emails.

Overall they did a good job and their prices were competitive.  Compared to the others we've used, they did an OK job and I would consider using them again.
