Skip Billet Electric

Skip Billet was so responsive, nice & easy to work with. Additionally he did not mind wearing a mask to complete our project, due to a family member with medical issues. Would call again and do recommend him

Skip was extremely easy to work with from the beginning. He returns phone calls within the same day, and shows up exactly when he says he is going to be there. My chandelier was missing a piece, and he took the time to research several places to buy it so he could finish the job that day. He is a master at what he does; and leaves a spotless home when he leaves. Not only is he great as what he does, he is extremely personable. He also brings his dad with him..and his dad is delightful. I'd hire them back in a heartbeat!

Skip's communications where very prompt. He was on time both to see the projects to write the estimate as well as the day the work was to be completed. We received the estimate in a very timely fashion. Even with me bugging them and offering them coffee Skip still completed all work in a very timely fashion. And when they left all rooms they worked in where left neat and tidy. Skip will be my go to electrician for any future electrical projects and to that end I have his number programmed into my cell phone. I highly recommend!

Our house sits at the top of a rise and was built in the 1970's. A 4x4 rises 6-feet above the roof's peek so that trucks don't rip the wires from our house. The top of the mast was starting to rot. We were concerned the original anchor would pull-out and thought we'd need to replace those whole mast. We called Skip after reading recommendations on Yelp and Angie's List. He made an appointment to review the work. He called before the appointed time to say he was running late and then arrive at the new time. Skip found the mast was solid except for the top 4-inches. That was good news. We wouldn't need to replace the mast. We agreed on a price and scheduled a time for the work. Skip arrived on time, completed the work, and cleaned-up. The next day was the ice, sleet, and snow storm. Although large icicles hung from those electrical wires, they held fast. We are very happy with the results.

Skip does is very knowledgeable and trustworthy. He does excellent work. He is also very fast which helps keep the cost down. I highly recommend him.

Skip was great and we would hire him again. In fact, we already have our next project in mind for him. He was communicative, personable, and responsive. He was on-time a d professional - and the quality of his work seems great!

Skip stopped by to take a careful look at the job and prepare his detailed parts list.  He kept in touch as the weather interfered with the schedule for the actual work.  He made certain that everything was going as planned, and took care to place the new outlets and panel exactly where we wanted them. The work proceeded quickly and neatly, once the weather cooperated.

Skip is responsive, friendly, and competent, and we are pleased with the results of his work.  We also enjoyed meeting his helper, who is also his Dad, Fritz.

Skip tackled one project at a time.   He cleaned up all areas when done.   He answered all my questions.   I was very pleased with the work performed and I plan to have more work for him in the Spring.    I had no issues with any of the work performed.
 

Skip called us back on his way back from his vacation and came out today (the next day).

Mr. Billet was very helpful with my scheduling needs and responded to messages both on phone and Angie's List message service. He arrived right on time and performed the work quickly and efficiently. He was friendly, informative and takes pride in his work. I would absolutely use him again for future work and recommend him to others.

I called Skip mainly because the way the builder of my home had wired my outside receptacles, when water would get into the receptacle, it would throw the circuit breaker and shut off the freezer in my basement.  I didn't figure out what was happening until I realized that my freezer had been without power for more than a whole day.  Skip was able to figure out what was causing the problem and reconfigured some circuits so that I wouldn't have this problem in the future, particularly because if it would have happened while I was away on vacation, all the food in my freezer could have spoiled.  While he was there I also had him do some other minor electrical repairs and move a dimmer switch.  Skip responds promptly and quickly gets the problems solved for a reasonable price.  He's also very personable and nice to deal with.

The guy who came out was excellent. He was polite, professional and punctual. He did a good job while I was here. I would even trust him even if I was not here.

Skip and his Dad were very friendly and easy to work with. They were prompt and the work was done quickly.  It was a small job, but I needed it done sooner than later since I was selling my house. They are trustworthy and dependable. I will definitely call them again!

We contacted Skip Billet after the first electrician failed to call and set up an appointment to do the work.  Mr Billet came to our home and gave us a verbal estimate.  He said that he would call with a formal estimate and to set up a time to do the work.  It took him longer to call us back to confirm the estimate. Waited at least several days.  However, Mr. Billet arrived as scheduled.  He did excellent work.  . He performed the service for the quoted price (which was a little cheaper than the first electrician quoted us). He is a very friendly man.  
I would call Skip Billet again if I need any more electrical work in the future.
