Shawn Baylor Painting

His team came in as scheduled (THE DAY AFTER CHRISTMAS 12/26/12- it snowed 3-4 inches and sleeted!!) and arrived punctually at 7:25 AM for a 7:30 AM start.  Adam & Doug were the painters and were very friendly and professional.  Shawn came over first thing in the morning to tell his guys what and where to paint, and then came by after the job was complete to make sure it was completed to my specifications.  Most importantly, they were very clean and exact with their painting and clean up!  There was a lot of patching and nail holes that they had to do before the dry wall could be painted, along with sanding.  
I am a little anal, so in preparation for their arrival, I had removed all of the handrails, window treatments, electric socket/light switch plates, nails, etc. from the walls, and moved everything about 4 feet away from the walls. I also plugged in tall lamps so they would be able to see which area's would need to be covered with another coat.  They said that helped cut a lot of time out of the job and was very much appreciated. 
They started by taping all of the trim, then patching holes, then paintbrushes around corners and ceiling, sanding patched holes, then rollers, finally, clean up.  The job took a total of 7 hours, two painters.  I wish I had before and after pictures of the place, but unfortunately, I don't.  The room that was painted was blue and had a faux finish of linen on it that was relatively dark.
