Scott Fullerton & Son Remodeling Contractors

I bought my own new bath cabinet, faucet, lighting, etc. I also arranged subs for flooring, which was the same company used for new carpeting. He also did not like that I did not use him for painting, staining, etc. He prefers to purchase items himself. I bought an inferior shower head unknowingly and it became a major source of discontent on his part. He ended up yelling at me on the phone & asked that I never contact him again. I have used 2 other well known contractors in the York area previously for larger remodels without incident & with great satisfaction. I wish that I had used them this time also. Their busy schedules is why I chose Fullerton, who seemed available, but then complained about having to "fit us in" between his vacation and bigger jobs. His work is fine, but his defensive and abrasive manner is not something I bargained for. His son was always pleasant and professional. He may be easier to deal with if he can have total control of project: painting, flooring, purchasing, etc. He alluded that he did not set the quote high enough to cover our concerns. I'm sure most of his customers are happy as long as they don't question his decisions and do not require any additional visits that don't accommodate his schedule.
