Nate from S&L was responsive and professional, did the job quickly and on time. Saved the day for my daughter's graduation party!

Nate and his crew did a great job. They were prompt, communicative, and did a great job with our yard. Things in our large yard had gotten messy and overgrown to to all of the rain this spring, and they left our yard organized and neat. They cleaned all of the old leaves and twigs out of the flower beds an weeded them, edged them, & added fresh mulch to all of them. They also pruned all of the bushes around the house. We will happily hire S&L again.

It went exactly as desired! Nate is very personable and easy to work with, made good proposals for stylish treatments. The crew worked continuously to accomplish the project in the agreed upon time frame (1 day). Everyone was friendly and communicated effectively with my wife and myself. Final walk-around concluded with payment for services rendered. I think Nate and his team were proud of the result and appeared to take an interest in the property.

Nate is a really great business person with your best interests in mind. He walked me through the whole process and came in about 50% of the quotes I had been getting for the same or similar work, we then added additional work (mulching) and he was full of suggestions. The work and professionalism is amazing, has a reasonable rate for labor, and he also doesn't charge you an arm and a leg on materials.
All-in-all, Nate with S&L Landscape and Lawn Care is a really great guy/company to work with.

I was in a jam after being let down by my previous landscaper who took on work he couldn't complete within the agreed upon time frame. I took to Angie's list and found S&L. Nate responded quickly to my request and made it a point to do a walk through to understand the scope of the job within a day of me contacting him. He provided me a quote on the spot and guaranteed he would get the job done within the timeframe we agreed to. To my surprise, he showed up the very next day which was ahead of schedule with all the materials required. He clearly takes pride in his work and did an outstanding job which far exceeded my expectations. Unlike many landscapers in the area, Nate provided transparent pricing and didn't mark up the materials and provided me with a fair and honest price for the work. He cleared additional materials with me before doing the work to ensure there were no surprises. I highly recommend S&L to anyone needing landscaping work in the York area. S&L has definitely earned my business for future landscaping needs.

Nate was timely, and professional and his price was fair.  We were looking for a clean, sharp, curb appeal finish and that's just what we got.  I highly recommend Nate and do plan to use his services in the future.

We called several landscape companies and Sand L was very quick to respond and gave us a great deal. Nate tilled a large area of my property for a home garden. He pick up, delivered and mixed in mushroom soil. he also provided us with fencing for the area. Nate's a nice guy who does great work for a reasonable price! I have already discussed other projects with him. I highly reccomend him

Nate came out and talked to me for a bit about what was required. We walked around the property and he pointed out the various elements of the existing landscaping that should be maintained, and things that He thought might be ideal to remove. We also included the work of the removal of a large front bed of unsightly bushes that made no sense (put in there by the previous owner).

While we were talking about it, He noted that some of the items which were being removed would be ideal to relocate in favor of other ivy and creeping plants that would only be more difficult to maintain. Once we had decided on a course of action, the work was performed without me being present (as I and my wife were at work). I had the chance to look at things once I had gotten home -- wow! Very impressive work overall, and quite thorough. The end result is absolutely outstanding.
