"Mike G? signed his paperwork on 6/5. Installation began 7/24, completed 7/26. At the time his order was placed our lead time was 4-6 weeks. There was a one-week delay in installation. Mike G signed a contract which clearly states Prizm shall not be liable for damages or delays in performance due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including without limiting the generality of the foregoing, any priority system established by any agency of the United States Government, fires, floods, storms, other acts of God, accidents, strikes, insurrections, war, shortage of materials, lack of transportation and failure of performance of subcontractors and/or suppliers for similar reasons. Failure of Prizm to perform for these reasons aforesaid shall not be grounds for purchasers cancellation of its order but the delivery date shall be extended accordingly. Our installer spent several hours at this customers property reviewing the layout and revising it over and over as the customer changed his mind several times. The day after the installation started Mike G(customer) went out and shook the posts. He then called our installer to let him know they were loose and wobbly. Ed, the owner of Prizm Vinyl called and asked Mikes wife Kayla to advise her husband not to push on the posts because the concrete had not set. The wife apologized and assured him she would let her husband know not to touch the posts. On 7/30, four days after installation was complete Mike G sent three pictures of posts that had shifted. Our installer returned to the property to address the customers concerns and align posts again. At that time, he discovered that the neighbors pool had been drained causing the posts to move. In addition, a severe storm had occurred and the combination of the two events undoubtedly shifted the fence posts. Below you will find a few text messages (copied exactly) from Mike G. These messages are quite relevant when addressing his review. Please note: The installer was very responsive and made several trips back to the customers house to address the issues. Unfortunately we cannot copy everything as we are limited in characters. However, we will be happy to provide screenshots of the entire thread of messages if anyone is interested. -"Yeah idk. It wasnt like that a few days ago, cause I walked around and checked everything. It looked great as of Sunday." -"No they havent been out because of putting in the pool. I mowed Sunday but went around with push mower. And didnt mow where the loose dirt way. We had some rain today. Like it poured fir 15 or 20 min. But thats the only thing out of the norm since youve been here. Mike G: Nope it is way below that. Bits at the bottoms portion of their yard. If you remember where they put the plastic in to catch the run off from the dirt, its on the other side of that plastic. It wasnt bumped into anything. Theres 2 post at the bottom thats the same way" -"My wife left a message for Ed when you seen it but he hasnt got back to us. If I had to take an educated guess, Id say it rained hard, saturated the ground, the concrete isnt set and it caught some wind and knocked everything out of shape. Thats be my guess. But I wanted to reach out to you guys right away. Since it was just put in?" In his review Mike G neglected to include all the details surrounding the issues he was having with his installation. He accused Prizm of not coming back, not responding to him, which is simply not true. In addition, he even claimed to have paid $8,000.00 for his fence when the actual amount was $6976.22. Prizm Vinyl Corporation has installed well over 1400 fences through the years. We would be doing ourselves a disservice to say that every installation occurs without any issues arising. What we can say is that we address any/all issues making every attempt to satisfy our customers."
