"Steve did a nice job but took about twice as long as I might have expected the job to take. I had a piece of Wayfair cubicle furniture to assemble and 4 pictures to hang and it to 4.25 hours to complete. Steve was polite and professional."

Small jobs welcome

"Jeff was very knowledgeable and patient in assembling the item in spite of the poor condition of the parts (pieces bent, ridiculously poor instructions, holes not pre drilled or in wrong places). He was very thorough in finding the best solutions for securing the pergola. Everything was done professionally."

Small jobs welcome

"I hired Al to paint and do minor touch up to my fathers house to get it ready for sale. After seeing his great work, I decided that I would hire him to do work at my house. I had him install a new back door and screen door. he installed new lights above my kitchen cabinets, he finished the vinyl floor in my bathroom, he hung a new ceiling fan. He redid the dry wall in my bathroom around my tub. He is very punctual, he is very detailed on making sure everything is right. I also have in on schedule to do a few more jobs. Great job Al and to his helper, go teamwork."

"These two guys were great. Responded quickly to my initial contact. Worked with me to find a convenient time to do the work. Extremely reasonable in their pricing. I paid more than they wanted to charge me because I felt their charge was not enough! Rare these days. Arrived on time. Proficient in what they did. Genuinely nice guys and I love the name of their business!!"

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

Book your seasonal pool and spa service early, scheduling spring openings by March and fall closings by August. Before starting structural work, verify all enclosure requirements with PA state fencing laws and local HOA rules. Assess your backyard drainage to prevent water pooling on York County’s clay-heavy soil. Finally, notify your municipal water provider before completing large fills to avoid triggering unexpected leak alerts on your utility account.

Helpful?

Review quotes carefully to spot missing details for pool construction and installation. A professional must include building permits and utility marking plans. Watch out for missing soil assessments to handle local clay-heavy ground. Ensure the quote addresses frost-depth footings for PA winters. Avoid contractors who omit grading plans or provide vague timelines that ignore the busy summer construction season.

Helpful?

Schedule pool construction and installation when you notice recurring deck heaving each spring or severe cracking on your equipment pad. These signs indicate deep structural movement in York soil. Plan your project for January or February to allow ample time for permits before the spring rush. Update unpermitted structures immediately after purchasing a home to ensure complete safety and code compliance.

Helpful?

After completing seasonal pool and spa service, schedule a post-winterization inspection in late March or early April. Freeze-thaw cycles in Pennsylvania cause plumbing shifts and cracked fittings. Test your water quality within 48 hours of refilling, as local municipal water contains high mineral levels. Finally, close out any structural permits with your local township and verify that all drainage complies with York County stormwater regulations.

Helpful?

Standard pool and spa service takes one to two days for seasonal openings and closings in York. Routine maintenance visits require just one to two hours. Expect equipment repairs to take one to three days, though local supply chain delays extend this timeline. Structural repairs like liner replacements demand three to seven days. Always add one to three weeks to your schedule if your project requires municipal permits.
