McCauley Painting

The paint job was excellent.  As we were going over what needed to be done, I pointed out an outside door to a tool/storage room that was damaged and rusted on the bottom.  I figured some paint  might help, at least a little.  It would eventually have to be replaced, but the lowest quote I had gotten was for $600.00.  The door is an oddball size, and would have to be custom made.  Later that evening I got a call from Mr. McCauley who said, "I've been thinking about that door, and I have a suggestion."  First, he primed the door with a rust preventive paint; next he took measurements and cut a piece of aluminum to the proper size to cover the damaged area;  then he bent the aluminum, fastened it to the  door (wrapping it around the bottom to cover both the inside and outside area, kind of like a wrap-around kick-plate); last, he painted the whole thing, giving it 2 coats.  It looks absolutely wonderful!I  I am so impressed -- both with his creativity and his taking time to think through my problem.  He's my painter for life.  Really.  (BTW, we are not related, and I had never met him before he came to give me an estimate.)

He did a fantastic job.   Cleaned up the area nicely.
I would re-hire for future work.
